QUOTE(gmhafiz @ Sep 17 2011, 12:06 AM) I thought MIUI can use kernel for cm7 also. but always better check from the kernel thread if it is compatible sorri, slow mow person here @ newbie question... - those DXJV9/JVR/JVS are samsung's ROM. heavily customized touchwiz-laden rom - cyanogenmod7 is directly from AOSP, and then awesomeness-added. cm7 is still not without its problem. see first page. - Since rom are different, kernels for samsung rom and cm7 are not interchangeable. last night i flash MIUI 1.99 rom from darkcore kernel + darky rom for JVS and i find out that MIUI automaticly switch the kernel (MIUI kernel - forgot the name coz im on MIUI for only 1 hour!!).so is it the same for CM7?? |

QUOTE(isaaclimhw @ Sep 26 2011, 09:36 AM) got another ver of simplicity ka???or is it i heard rumors that got simplicity 1.1??Added on September 26, 2011, 10:15 am QUOTE(bestofel @ Sep 26 2011, 08:04 AM) im using dynamic I rom from this user (dynamic also his name:D ).so far so good, but noticeable lag when using dolphine browser/facebook/friendcaster.no fc at the moment and nice theme also. Bluetooth are good and others are great.pretty stable and fast for now..Dynamic II already out,and i've already donload it.wont flash it now but sooner or later i will flash.still satisfied with Dynamic I for now.. i will try simplicity after this, but when times flew by,and by that time i want to test simplicity,of coz many roms are available for JVS.as long as with semaphore 1.7 kernel,im happy with any rom using this kernel coz i got option to overclock my SGS to 1.2ghz with 1650mAH batt.. thats too much to talk from a person self title "newbie" here This post has been edited by azamunekurone: Sep 26 2011, 10:19 AM |

QUOTE(saya_zharif @ Sep 26 2011, 12:58 PM) seriously? why is that? cos i had just migrated from chameleon to darky since i prefer stock camera, and suddenly when i read this thread you guys talked about this simplicity, i just want to know why darky is not good and appreciate if you guys can find me sumthing better. thx! for me darky is good.nearly stock.but based on my memories and after testing one and only darky rom (that is darky jvs based beta),..its not that good la coz in beta version.never try other darky rom coz im on 2.3.5 right now..simplicity is near like stock also, will try it later since i say few comments about wifi disconnet when low signal in xda (if im not mistaken) and i dont have any trouble with wifi with my dynamic I rom.. |

QUOTE(saya_zharif @ Sep 26 2011, 01:32 PM) Dynamic ROM = Sense right? erm. i am now using JVQ based Darky and i found that stable enough (well for now at least) i don't really care if its JVS or JVQ (cos i dun really know what're the differences) as long it is good as it is. nope,..not the sense.dynamic rom.and the name of the creator is dynamic... darky 10.2 RE is the most stable for JVQ.and the darky 10.2.2 extreme edition is not that stable so far (my friend test it).refer his post here http://jjpda.blogspot.com/2011/09/how-to-i...ck-235-and.html this is the different for other version :: 2.3.3 Android 2.3.3 is a small feature release that adds several improvements and APIs to the Android 2.3 platform. 2.3.4 Added support for voice or video chat using Google Talk. 2.3.5 25 Jul 2011 Brought improved network performance for the Nexus S 4G, among other fixes and improvements. Fixed bluetooth bug on Samsung Galaxy S Improved Gmail application What's New in GMail? QUOTE(bestofel @ Sep 28 2011, 10:05 AM) Got answer from the rom thread at xda-developer: i forgot oledi that i had copy all those scripts after flashing the semaphore kernel.so its the kernel problem actually!!! With Samsung Kies, I can easily manage phone book, message, memo and multimedia content. I also like to have more than just one backup, I already use Titanium Backup, but still backup phone book and message by Samsung Kies. In case I loose my phone, I have other backup. oh ya, i already backup my phone to gmail automatically and sync all sms by using SMS backup directly to gmail.so i no need to worry much... so how the Dynamic II?is it good?so far my batt for Dynamic I rom is good!!besides,i got another batt for backup! |
