newbie in this section (just notice this thread LOL)..a proud owner of SGS I9000 from ipoh.

currently running 2.3.5 JVS + Semaphore 1.7 kernel + Revolution 2.0 rom!

hope can learn more from u all here!

just flash back to 2.3.5 Darkcore+Darky JVS based.so far so good..

the revolution rom are good and fast,but my phone always hang!demn...before flashing to darky i've tried MIUI 1.9.9 and can OC to 1.3ghz!but i only use MIUI for only 1 hour coz i just knew MIUI cant video call...what a waste!

thanks for da info!so this cyanogenmod7 can mix with other kernel,or is it like MIUI?

sorri,slow mow person here @ newbie question...

last night i flash MIUI 1.99 rom from darkcore kernel + darky rom for JVS and i find out that MIUI automaticly switch the kernel (MIUI kernel - forgot the name coz im on MIUI for only 1 hour!!).so is it the same for CM7??

turn off ur phone,
and press the home button (center button) + volume up + on switch

ur phone will be in recovery mode.wipe all data,including format memory..


p/s :: correct me if im wrong

i had uninstall the updates for market,but i still found out that my market are not the old one.maybe bcoz of my Dynamic rom with semaphore kernel (kernel dont have anything to do with market..LOL) i was using right now...

nevermind that,coz i dont enter android market always.sometimes only..but seriously, if i had the chance to change it,of coz i will try!!

i search on the market,but find nothing accept this..

Added on September 26, 2011, 10:15 amim using dynamic I rom from this user (dynamic also his name:D ).so far so good,but noticeable lag when using dolphine browser/facebook/friendcaster.no fc at the moment and nice theme also. Bluetooth are good and others are great.pretty stable and fast for now..

Dynamic II already out,and i've already donload it.wont flash it now but sooner or later i will flash.still satisfied with Dynamic I for now..

i will try simplicity after this,but when times flew by,and by that time i want to test simplicity,of coz many roms are available for JVS.as long as with semaphore 1.7 kernel,im happy with any rom using this kernel coz i got option to overclock my SGS to 1.2ghz with 1650mAH batt..

thats too much to talk from a person self title "newbie" here

tested darky JVS based.not stable enough la. seriously, Bluetooth connection are a big major problem and also sometimes apps freeze (hang)...

for me darky is good.nearly stock.but based on my memories and after testing one and only darky rom (that is darky jvs based beta),..its not that good la coz in beta version.never try other darky rom coz im on 2.3.5 right now..

simplicity is near like stock also,will try it later since i say few comments about wifi disconnet when low signal in xda (if im not mistaken) and i dont have any trouble with wifi with my dynamic I rom..

nope,..not the sense.dynamic rom.and the name of the creator is dynamic...

darky 10.2 RE is the most stable for JVQ.and the darky 10.2.2 extreme edition is not that stable so far (my friend test it).refer his post here

already got dynamic II.im running dynamic I.if u like stock,better go for simplicity.i'm the one who like more than stock theme (very lazy to flash other theme)....hihiii

wow...i didnt try the dynamic II rom.i only used dynamic I rom for the time being.never encounter such problem like that...

i forgot oledi that i had copy all those scripts after flashing the semaphore kernel.so its the kernel problem actually!!!

oh ya,
i already backup my phone to gmail automatically and sync all sms by using SMS backup directly to gmail.so i no need to worry much...

so how the Dynamic II?is it good?so far my batt for Dynamic I rom is good!!besides,i got another batt for backup!

from what i see and told at the original TS post at xda,
they managed to put new theme and memory tweak(different Dynamic I / II).and i do notice that this Dynamic rom does not use EXT4 for unknown reason...

oh ya,do read that stock camera has been hacked!

people said that casings for galaxy s can fit easily to galaxy s plus not like galaxy sl.is it true?

mine can..mostly all custom rom can video call accept for MIUI and CM7 if im not mistaken
