i'm at recovery mode after flashing speedmod-kernel-k15i-t9.tar, running Stock XXJVQ
the menu got
- reboot system now
- apply sdcard:update.zip
-wipe data/factory reset
- install zip from sdcard
- backup and restore
- mounts and storage
- advanced ClockWorkMod features
- advanced SpeedMod features
- go back

I'm not sure i should do now to optimize the phone, any expert can kindly guide me?

just go into recovery>voodoo control> disable lagfix and system lagfix off>then reboot. after that you will go back RFS. then you can flash any kernel you like.

or
ypu can open voodoo apps >lagfix preferences>untick ext4 convertion and reboot.

ops...i just notice that 'OK' is the power button and i go convert to EXT4...now progressing...any harm?

tt is wat i tot tt we can flash direct without covert back to rfs. but like u said, we always takut. Come to think of it, i hv not been ext4 for a long long time since froyo n speedmod came out. fon always with speedmod all this time.


flashed to speedmod, now i really know what i missed th most fr his kernel, th boot up speed. oh is there anywhere to check if i m at rfs or ext4 ?

what to do my frenz.... astro been conquer that service alone... now we juz can wait for hyyp tv adding more tv channel to vs what astro can give..... only that time i think we can see any sport live without interrupt.....

- no indication on notification bar nor sound to indite it was fully charged.
- my batt doesnt show 100 (%) when fully change. it will show "blank". But upon unplugging the cable, it went back to normal (98 or 96 or 92 % etc). IMO, i think it can only show double figure

using talon test 0.4.4.22.

hang while playing game just now (batt was very low, approx 15 %, which i m not sure if it is related). need to take out batt. 1st time it happens.
before this, phone apk fc 2 / 3 times also (few days ago). i had feedback in this forum before that this phone apk fc din happen before, who knows.. it happen to me indeed!

so far so good...dunno battery okay or not...haha....

LOL! of cause it will lag compare to cm7. haha. but quite smooth. especially after delete the script file.

i feel that the battery drain faster than cm7. 

camera for MIUI almost perfect. i heard that the latest galnet with volberth latest kernel solved 720p recording.  the only thing i dontlike is iphone-ish.

ohhh i see. okay then, maybe after this download the file lah kot. hehe, i can say its solve already, the thing that i dont like is there are still some users report problems and said its not that stable.

btw, i kinda disagree with their decision to make user pay for 10 pound for a year to get access for their rom. 

if im not mistaken, the battery life also kinda fixed already. some user report its up to 2 days ( same like stock gb roms).

in his forum, he mentioned that his rom had been downloaded by 1 mil times already. imagine if the downloads are paid 10 pound each, konfirm filthy rich terus. and luckily xda realized about it earlier.  but no doubt he's also one of great xda devs somehow, even the chinese also copy his 720p fix already,

itulah, seriously i can say its such a disgrace la. i still remember when he joined the miui thread in xda in early days with mambo, he's very humble at that time. at some point when he start to create much stable builds, then he naik kepala already. haihh. even now i dunno what's the story about mambo already, disappear like a wind just like that.

Since everyone pun jarang2 flash rom dah, wanna ask some opinion la. Will you guys buy another phone from Samsung lagi after this? I'm thinking to go for iOS after this, only if Android Market can par with Apple Appstore,  then i'll stay.
