Umm, both have battery issues. It's just that most of you don't charge using USB more than a certain hour and have something running in the background eating up the battery fast.
Phone APK FC is present in JVR as well. Phone discharging has been there since the first Gingerbread. The only thing is people will experience varying discharging between getting 60% to 95% when they take out the charger.

ken and pikachu,

before i flash talon and apply pikachu's modded zach script, should i delete all the scripts in my init.d folders?

i am using simplicity 0.4 (and kernel semaphore 1.6v that comes with it). currently there are 3 scripts:
- 01acidext4tweak
- 99suoercharger
- enable_netfilter

should i?

I think u shld try zohawkish's SGS2 port JVS rom if u wanna have a taste on SGS2.. however, there's a WiFi bug in JVS

and to add.. don use the scripts in Simplicity 0.40. had battery drain with them.. after switching back to 0.40pre scripts, got back my battery life. gonna try Pikachu's updated Zach scripts after tis laugh.gif

- cut
- copy
- delete
- rename
- create short cut

do you mean after flash speedmod phone cannot boot up or need to bootup manually? JVK is kinda old so not sure talon supported or not , try flash other newer rom like JVQ will be better all kernel supported.

Thx Ken, pikachu and gajah. My rig does feel bit better wt talon and the modded platypus script. Batt wise.. almost same tho. But no complains la.. my cable is oways wt me at work.

i revert back to old market. the 3..3 / 3.1.5 worked very slow for me. laggy, and sometimes cant connect

Since i cant get jvt from samfirmware.com, i assume i can use the 1 provided by powerdams at xda (link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1289875)?

there's ppl mentioned on wifi and gps issue (eventho the 1st page in the link above said most ppl don encounter such problem). how bout you guys huh
