There's a newer version of MIUI. Anyways, your friend should factory reset and reflash. Should work fine after that.

Packet data? Must on. If not, you can't receive any MMS.

If you do not want the 3G connection to run, disable the Internet APN. Only enable the MMS APN.

I'm on Maxis, but Digi should have 2 APNs also right? hmm.gif

My bad. Actually Maxis has one APN only and from there you can pick 'MMS only' instead of 'Internet + MMS'. For other telcos, you have to ask others.

Delete your existing APNs and create this

QUOTE

Name = Maxis(3G)
APN = unet
Username = maxis
MMSC = http://172.16.74.100:10021/mmsc
MMS proxy = 202.75.133.49

APN type = default,mms
(Others, leave blank)


Under 'APN type', pick 'MMS only'.

You mean video calls using mobile network? Won't work then. For that you need to pick 'Internet + MMS'.
