Remove system apks (from Titanium Backup - back the apk up first though) like Aldiko or Allshare or Fonts.

i'm still happy with my simplicity 0.4..
anyone using the latest simplicity? good?

Stock JVT + TalonDev + ThunderBolt! tweaks has no problems so far. You have the advantage of knowing what is actually added into your phone tongue.gif

Have to pay for an app to monitor my battery usage? I find it rather ridiculous, or would be ridiculed by iOS users.  mad.gif

your comment makes me feel like going back Sammy's ROM  sad.gif  Have you tried CM7? I kinda miss Sammy ROM for its stability but dislikes its minor spikes, as for CM7 it is really fast, but experienced some bootloops randomly sad.gif
*
Use stock ROM with ThunderBolt! tweaks. You'll probably get back the same speed tongue.gif

really? does WhatsApp stutters? i remember back on Sammy ROMs, whenever typing a reply and a message comes in, the keyboard will just hang.  sad.gif
*
I usually use Google Talk, and it doesn't stutter for me. Whatsapp, I would guess that it will not?

I didn't change my kernel lah...
n yeah, usually the random reboot occurs when i'm connected to Wi-Fi....
mayb i'll just go to stock rom n try pika's thunderbolt...  hmm.gif
*
Yeah, using Stock is always the best as you know what's added into it.

And as always, ThunderBolt! tongue.gif

Did you tune your MTU in your modem to something that is not the default?

how to check?  sad.gif

It depends on your modem. If you don't know about it, then highly likely you didn't tweak it.

Not sure what other things can cause this.

yeah...all unticked accept for

Low Memory Killer > 64mb (coz im running on Semaphore BM)
SD-Card read ahead > 3072kb

thats all,
if im running stock rom,of coz thunderbolt script from pikachu will be used! rclxms.gif
*
The Semaphore script LMK and SDCard readahead will conflict with ThunderBolt's settings smile.gif

Also, reducing readahead will reduce benchmark score for data reads but will boost real life data read speed.

This is due to benchmarks that tests long contiguous reads when real life -> spurious reads rather than long contiguous ones.

You left your phone "not-smart" for not putting it online?

That's not the point I raise this issue.

Look back 1 or 2 more pages for the screencap.

so whats ur recomendation...?
i tried it and its ok with jetpack rom.but i do notice problems when running stock JVT+thunderbolt with that settings...
*
My recommendation is just that. Don't use them both together smile.gif

Either Semaphore tweaks (SDCard readahead and LMK) or ThunderBolt!

You need a custom kernel to enable overclocking. E.g. like I'm using Talon..
OR
You can install Tegrak Overclock app (it's a kernel injection module that injects the OC module to overclock into the kernel).

I have predefined a fixed ip for my phone based on mac address.

i think it's time to hop back to Simplicity
*
Simplicity XXJVT will also have this problem. You're using address reservation setting. Remove that and also set lease time to something that is not forever, OR set a static IP on your phone itself.

That resolved all my wifi problems for good.
