I dont flash or mod so I guess its stock rom (after the word gingerbread in the build number it says swkf1.

I get the h icon most of the time.

I watch vids while charging.yeah thats why its hot. Haha

And no illegal app.all from market n samsung app n game hub.

But my mobile internet still auto disconnects n no data is received when the icon 3g comes up (n at times I have h icon but only the uploading icon with the green light will light up n my internet go standstill because the yellow icon doesn light up) now I have to resign to switching data network on and off.

Now I have another problem. Aside from connectivity, my browser or skyfire like to crash. Any ideas why? It usually happena when im streaming but now it happens intermittently.

Nah my browser crash even when im online (was downloading from market) but it usually happens when im streaming at utube or other video sites. so far opera seems okay but ill monitor. Altho I havent tried opera with video yet.

I live in keramat area. Last time I was using nokia n8 n my connection was with the same sim n package n never experienced the disconnection issue.

If in KL then might as well you try Umobile. It's cheap and had good coverage for KL area. Cost RM28 for one month with 500mb data + 100 min all network calls + 30 sms, all included and no hidden charges.

And why do you want to downgrade your firmware? I believe yours is XWKF1 right? That's Android 2.3.3. If you want to upgrade then go for Android 2.3.4. The latest official one is XXKG5 while the leaked one is KG6 or maybe KG7 already :-P

My gs2 is having a lot of problems
from internet auto disconnects, phone cant detect my 3g service, loss of signal, auto reboot, freezes, crashes,
i even did a hard reset but things are the same
Will send to berjaya times square for repair (i doubt they'll detect anything or will take my repair). once new samsung keluar, will get it or use iphone dulu.

the phone is getting worse and worse when it comes to connecting with my 3g
what i hate is, the icon H or E or 3g is up there but there's no activity (and sometimes only the green arrow blinks but no orange arrow)
so i have to restart my vids, my download etc etc
and just now it i had the coverage bar at full but there's the notification saying no service and the search for network operators failed
then the phone auto reboot
hahahaha...and after factory reset, i left the phone idle on my bed
suddenly the battery kong already after 6 hours
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...how lah

~~ nahh ~~ no need to answer my question. Just sent your phone for checkup. Stock rom phone shouldn't behaving like yours. Most probably they will flash new full stock firmware back for you. Try it and if the same problems recur then ask for a replacement if i were you :-)

Guys
i just received my sgs2 back from samsung custoner service at times square
i though the 3g problems were solved but it wasn't

i suspect its my digi 3g which is unstable
but when i tried ny simcard in my old phone (nokia n8) and my spare phone (SE zylo), 3g was fast n seamless
im out of ideas so i took a video with my camera to show u guys my problems
ill be stitching it since i made one vid for sgs2 n one vid for zylo

will upload at utube n paste link here
