Anyone knows how to disable the vibration each time pressing the back button and when typing something on S2, it's annoying, I've set Vibrate to Never and it is still doing it sad.gif

FREAKING YES!!! AND I HAVE TO USE CAPS FOR IT!!!

It will scan your media files. I saw a guide on the internet saying put all the Videos and Pictures on the SDCard and unmount it before plugging to your PC. This way KIES will have less media files to scan thus speeding it up. I tried and it works.

Thanks for the tips biggrin.gif

Anyone here know how to set the senders name for email send from the Email app. I've configured my hotmail account, and did set my name for the sender name earlier. However when I send an email , it will show my full email address instead of the name that I set.

for example, I set my name as Bruce Wayne, and the email account is bruce.wayne@hotmail.com

when I send an email to joker@hotmail.com, it will be showing in the Inbox as bruce.wayne@hotmail.com instead of Bruce Wayne only..

I haven't rooted my phone yet, did not want to root it actually. But the thing is I like using my phone as a GPS navigator as well. Like what I did on N8.

The question is for the step on page 1 to enable Navigation in Google Maps Malaysia.

Do I still need to put in an SD card to be able to enable it? Or it can be done without the need of an SD card?

guys, I'm stuck on this step

3. Then using root explorer on your phone (i used Super Manager, which also has root functions), transfer the Google Maps-ownhere.apk file to your phone's system/app folder (make sure its set to R/W).

I've tried to copy it to system/app but is not going there when I paste it and how to make sure it is R/W? Using Super Manager

Been using the phone for 3 days now, the battery life is err.... short

I've fully charged my phone at 4am this morning, and now at 7pm its left 45%

Other than following the guide on page 1 on How can I make my battery life longer ?

Does installing custom rom make any improvement, any users done it and notice longer battery life?

Guys, I'm using Digi post paid, having a problem, when I go to Settings, About Phone, Status, My Phone Number is "Unknown"

I've set my phone number inside Contacts, My Profile.. But it is still showing as Unknwon

I already enable SamsungDive to track and wipe my phone in case got stolen or missplaced. In there it is also showing No Phone Number

Anyone here got the same problem and was able correct it?

Thanks
