This is a shortcut method for me to check the kernel and ROM performance. You can do without fully drain but requires more charging cycle to get the optimum reading. I'm seldom doing it , only when I change the file system or kernel.

Sometimes I backspace too fast and need to undo.

btw, was thinking of getting e585 originally but since the phone's price is lower and i can use it as a phone too (instead of just standalone mifi device), i opt for this

i've tried flashing kernal 2.05 already but still same , can hook onto wifi but cant surf ..
off wifi use 3G no prob , my wifi connection no prob cox trying it with other com..
off on router n model already also ...

anymore solution ? sigh ! conigtion mess up wifi ? maybe try flash other rom ... TK rom ok ma ?

I hate this kind of network connection.
1) Maxis - erratic - sometimes da fastest, sometimes signal only E like this evening ~~ bahh ~~
2) DiGi - stable though not that fast ~~ mehh ~~
3) Umobile - signal show H+ but speed test got only 1830kbps. ~~ eekk ~~
4).Celcom - havent try yet coz heard downloading only
700+ kbps ~~ duhh ~~
How i wish this phone can use Wimax ~~ sigh ~~

Which modem you used? I'm using ninpo 2.02 no issue with wifi

Does custom rom has a2sd? I don't mean the native a2sd, but the a2sd+ that comes with rom when u have to partition your ext sd card... I don't see the custom rom that I installed has that function

Maxis is being sucky these few week .... Last few days , i got a full bar but nobody can call in , keep getting sms for missed call . Then for the pass week , everytime i pass mid valley , heading towards subang , i will lose connection if i am on the phone

All the SGS users never care about it anyway. What you gonna do with your 2GB if everything move to another partition / device?
