This is what happen to me. You can try and it works for me like charm.

1. Make sure it is rooted.
2. Go to Titanium Backup (TB) and backup maps.
3. Uninstall maps
4. Go to street view & uninstall also.
5. Reboot
6. Copy the map / navi (link in my siggy if you can't find) and choose the one WITHOUT resign (resign didn't work for me that's why) - copy into your SD
7. Use Super Manager (since it is free) and move that file you just copied to your System under app. Do this by pressing the back space
8. Inside apps folder, just paste.
9. Reboot and done

3. does this work in singapore too?

4.how do i delete? Go to restore/backup-uninstall-delete then wipe data??

5.cant find streetmap in tb to uninstall

check ur apps activity
1. use TB to wipe the old mapsonwhere data and uninstall it (if u have it )

2. use ES file explorer or root explorer to do it
