I dont flash or mod so I guess its stock rom (after the word gingerbread in the build number it says swkf1.

I get the h icon most of the time.

I watch vids while charging.yeah thats why its hot. Haha

And no illegal app.all from market n samsung app n game hub.

But my mobile internet still auto disconnects n no data is received when the icon 3g comes up (n at times I have h icon but only the uploading icon with the green light will light up n my internet go standstill because the yellow icon doesn light up) now I have to resign to switching data network on and off.

New rooted SGS2 user reporting in.

anyone overclocked to 1.6ghz? what voltage settings u use?

MIUI for SGS2 is by the same developer in both XDA and MIUIDEV I think!

may i know which custom rom is better battery saving? lite'ning?

haiz i use titanium backup to backup my thingy but it does'nt backup my contact list == just flashed to villian ROM now have to recover back to stock ROM zzz

Hmm, seems like your place got a weak network reception. You could try to change your telco and see whether you can get much stronger network reception.
Or the other alternative way is to root your phone and get a different modem that suit for your place.
Unless you got some contract commitment to your telco, i suggest you try the first way. Buy a different telco prepaid card and see if it can solve your weak reception problems.

i have some question here.

For apps and games that i installed, the data will keep into system storage (566mb/1.97gb currently) by default ?

can it be move into USB Storage ?

if the apps is supported with app2sd then yes you can move it to sd card

new user reporting in.. add me to the list... just want to ask, after i flash the custom rom, does it come with a2sd as in those app memory are going to be forced into ext sd card?

Noob question here ~ how to disable vibrate @ sgs2???

~~ lol ~~ You can start by transfering all your contact numbers from your old phone to your new shinny SGSII so you'll know who is calling when you're in the middle of doing something or playing games :-)

one more ~ still need to use screen protector?? even sgs2 using gorilla glass???

titanium backup contact 1.0...meaning it should backup your contact...mine no problem backup contact..

ask urself, do you think the so called gorilla glass is like tank?
