I don't think apps can affect the battery usage statistics? I might be wrong though...

And another thing..the cool boot animation suddenly went missing..back to the original samsung's boot animation T.T

Yea but it's supposed to show which app/task use up most of the battery right? In this case it should be the camera wat..even if not that much..takkan as little as 2%

The battery usage stats is not accurate. If you want to find which apps that gobble up you batt juice then use android booster though i find this app is also not very accurate. I'm still looking for app that can accurately show data or graph of which app AND phone system that really gobble up our battery. :-)

I found out that the 3g data is more faster that using wifi when i download something.

I install a speed test on my s2 and when i test the download speed, wifi show 1000-1200kbps and 3g show 700-800kbps.

I have digi unlimited data and my house have 2MB streamyx but when i download something, it show on 3g is downloading at 120kbps but wifi at 30kbps.

I try to put my s2 near the wifi router to get a full bar but the problem still the same.

I have flash my s2 to litening rom 6 but before that i am in litening rom 5 but the problem is still the same.

Any idea why this happen because i thought suppose my house wifi should be faster then digi data?

try vignette too, this one has enuff settings to last ur gf for a LONGGGG time, snap ad can apply modify until u satisfied oni save

first time play with speedtest? shitmyx speed memang like that wan. when you use speedtest, it dl from local(malaysia) servers, nearest to you somemore, when u dl stuffs, u dl from overseask, this is where broadbands shine slightly better coz shitmyx throttles your overseas speed wan

speedfrey and nearly ALL modified kernals comes with CWM and recovery wan la, read the changelog la its ad stated got cwm and recovery will naturally be there

not really sure, more concerned about wakelocks, if fon being used drain nvm, phone off still drain, now that's a problem. anyways u can try Android Assistant

Anyway, do anyone know if i using sports tracking apps like endomondo, nike run, sportstracker etc... if i off my data connection and line signal, do they still can track using the GPS alone? or i need to turn on the data connection and reception for it to works?

any program that i can do with gps alone, coz i sometimes do travel, and regularly run, so wanted it to track my location.

As far as I know, all apps can lock with purely GPS signal. Data is just for AGPS - faster locking. After initial data picking up, only GPS is used anyway

as for this:

This is what happen to me. You can try and it works for me like charm.

1. Make sure it is rooted.
2. Go to Titanium Backup (TB) and backup maps.
3. Uninstall maps
4. Go to street view & uninstall also.
5. Reboot
6. Copy the map / navi (link in my siggy if you can't find) and choose the one WITHOUT resign (resign didn't work for me that's why) - copy into your SD
7. Use Super Manager (since it is free) and move that file you just copied to your System under app. Do this by pressing the back space
8. Inside apps folder, just paste.
9. Reboot and done

1. i cant find the map download link from your siggy.

2. what is the latest version of the apk?

3. does this work in singapore too?

Batista is the first custom ROM I flashed, and I noticed that when the USB is plugged in the phone to the computer, when the notification in the notification bar is tapped, nothing happens at all.

In stock ROM, upon plugging into the computer, there is a separate screen and a message telling you to press the home button to disable USB connection. There is no such option on this ROM.

Is it safe if I just pull the USB out of the phone?

Also, how can I access the phone test (*#0*#) again? Not working on this ROM either. Need this to prove my screen problems.

weird.im running on batista and i have the option to to remove my USB..just tried just now...your's is 3.5 or 3.6?..me using 3.5 ..

for phone test, batista remove this function....

Just to double confirm..

If I use wipe data in CWM, it ONLY wipe the 2GB system storage which use to store apps only right? it WONT wipe 11.50GB internal storage and external storage right?

Android Assistant is quite a usefull app though its graphic do need improvement. Looks like a kiddie apps :-) but it will do for now.

I got quite a lot of app that basically do the same thing (exp: traffic monitor and 3G watchdog). By using AA at least i know which of these two apps is using more juice. For this instance i found that traffic monitor is using 6.14% batt while 3G watchdog is only using 0.01% batt..!! So now i can happily uninstall traffic monitor and use only 3G watchdog instead.

I'm not really worried about battery drain. It's just good to know which/what app using how much the battery. That way i can uninstall many of my duplicate duties apps from my phone.

want to ask u guys..anyone using sensation rom..i jz changing from solarflare to sensation yesterday and do all the wipe..but the battry life really concerns me..drop over night from 85% to 17%..check on battry graph shows that my 'awake' bar always on and never stop..but on the 'screen on' bar there is on and off..really weird..anyone could help me..tanx..
