wow... i just realised that silent mode isn't really silent... must go and turn off the media volume manually! what a lousy feature of a silent mode!

This is a known issues bro. 3G is not the main culprit. The main culprit is display. At least, for me.

1. use titanium backup, go to batch>backup all apps+user data

2. reboot into cwm, choose backup/restore> run nandroid backup

erm... well first of all, I saw that already when I was trying to play a game in a meeting when the game sound came on. Luckily the puny speaker was easy to thumb while i adjusted the volume.... going back to the settings to see that there was such silly statements like that in the settings. Cause I took for granted that silent means silent. erm... that's quite a given I think.

If this IS the default silent mode style of android...

I'm completely unimpressed.

so just go to CWM menu and choose backup..and type the name you want to backup your ROM.then it will reboot and enter CWM recovery and backup..make sure you have at least 2GB of free space in your internal memory.

IOS is much worse when it comes to Silent mode.
