QUOTE(rayzy22 @ Aug 15 2011, 08:07 AM) BUMP this up...anyone with any valid ideas? Ninpo normal non-workaround right? Are you underclocked? I've gone through this like once before, but it was never extended (screen green, to black then habis hilang).@Destex...yes it doesn't hurt to try so i will.it just this problem is very rare to happen.it happened twice and random.by the time i might move to other ROM.however i'll log this from now on. @all taikor here...your help much appreciated, plz... Keep in mind Nymph normal applies a slight (-25mv) underclock by default and setcpu DOES NOT SHOW THIS. Maybe try upping the values a bit? If not it might be a hw problem. Mod of the day: Dolphin Lite Emblackened - ![]() Xscope is great, but the fact that I have to go to desktop mode every time I wanna edit posts in LYN, or not being able to attach stuff, or the text editing wonkyness, or the battery burningness of it all - always felt like trying something else but no other browser was available in matteblack. Until now. |

QUOTE(rayzy22 @ Aug 15 2011, 10:12 AM) since u mention it...yup it normal ninpo and i did install tegrak for under clocking purpose (set 800 Mhz in order to charge while navigation) but when it happened both clocked @1.2Mhz.i'll try ur method sir.. Uh... Ninpo and Tegrak in the same sentence. Hacre/Ninpo ain't gonna be happy about this.In short, tegrak DOES NOT WORK WITH NINPO (last I checked anyway), so you must either be using some other kernel, or the fact you're using Tegrak IS the problem. |

QUOTE(mryellow19 @ Aug 15 2011, 11:14 AM) This is why people should thank god Hacre is NOT here, else even MORE people confirm butthurt.Tegrak doesn't work. Use SetCPU/VoltageControl instead. But really, if the screen is green for extended amounts of time, it might probably be a HW defect anyway. This post has been edited by Eiraku: Aug 15 2011, 11:21 AM |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Aug 15 2011, 09:50 PM) My old phone that i used and remembered most :-P While we're on that topic:1) Ericsson t10 - yellow in colour 2) Sony ericsson t39 - slimmest and first bluetooth 3) Nokia 8110 - banana style ala Matrix ~ wow.!! ~ 4) Nokia 3110 - most robust, can baling one :-) 5) Nokia 6600 - my first colour screen phone ~ aww ~ 6) Nokia 5800 - still use, good for music :-) 7) Nokia N97 - big flop - sold quickly ~ mehh ~ 8) SGS - first Android phone o_O 9) SGSII - currently use - most satisfying one :-) 1) Nokia 3210 - first phone. Stolen. 2) Nokia 3210 - 2nd. Still at home somewhere. 3) Nokia 3350 - 1st colour screen. Lost at sea. 4) Moto E380 - Replacement. Utter crap. 5) Nokia N-Gage - Fun and flawed. First foray into celluar data/internet use. 6) SE W810i - First camphone. Still alive but broken. 7) SE Z300 - First flip, first 2nd phone. Nice hook antenna. Sold. 8) Nokia 5800 - First full touch phone. First phone with full postpaid 3G data access. First real smartphone. 9) Moto Razr V3 - 2nd backup phone. Died. 10) Nokia N97 Mini - First QWERTY slider. Gave away. 11) Nokia N900 - First 'nix tabletphone. Fried and died due to underclocking (yeah, weird). 12) Nokia E71 - First messenger QWERTY. Gave away. 13) iPhone 4 - First current gen device, stolen after 3 months, still paying installment for it (sigh). Still missing it dearly. 14) SE P1i - Temp replacement. Could not cope well in 2011. 15) SGS2 - First dual core device, first Android. IN CURRENT USE. Largely loyal to Nokia, until they decided to screw us over and axe Meego. On an unrelated note, the SGP Glas is HEAVYYYYYYY. With Glas + BestSkinsEver Body + Ultra Optics + SGP UltraCap on, my SGS2 feels almost as heavy as a naked iPhone 4 (almost anyway, that thing feels like a brick in your hands). Sure with the upcoming 2000mah Samsung extbatt it will be AS heavy lol. This post has been edited by Eiraku: Aug 15 2011, 10:17 PM |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Aug 15 2011, 10:17 PM) ~~@ Eiraku Not really, unless it's TRULY revolutionary. Nokia's playing catch up this days, although it's not as bad as RIM.Thinking of buying another Nokia phone after this? I am., saving right now for N9 or the Sea Ray - Windows one :-) They lost me when the N9 came out, and instead of being the next great tabletphone supremo, it turned out to be just another iPhone clone (with lotsa plastic too, oh sorry, POLYCARBONATE) with last year's specs? No thank you Nokia. |

I told you guys I don't have HDTV right, this weekend I came back home to KL (and busted my Avanza beyond repair, but that's another story) you try to imagine my surprise when suddenly there's TWO huge ass Samsung plasma HDs staring me in the face (one 3D summore). I mean, they weren't there before wey.... Now I don't have to worry about MHL compatibility anymore lol. |

Wow, after a day of using Dolphin Lite, I noticed just how much faster XScope is, and consequently, how much LESS power DL seems to be using.
And DL has that annoying "cannot edit LYN posts sometimes on 3G" bug too. Maybe because Celcom insists on using shared IP kot. Interesting. Might go back to X from time to time, if ever it's updated afterwards lol. |

QUOTE(LuffyPSP @ Aug 16 2011, 12:05 AM) whats more to say bout the MHL cable? plug in, take control of your phone of the large screen. play the movies and looks great. i really wish to buy the DLNA compatible tv. tried on both HDTV with the MHL, works great, just that, not wireless, which is suck to show off~~ DLNA Samsung TV with built in wireless starts at around 8k. Both my new HDTVs combined are not even half that. |

Facebook Katana2 emblackened:
![]() No more whiteouts in Messages + nicer icons. Not the latest though (1.6.1, latest is 1.6.3 I think). TIP FOR PEOPLE USING MODDED APPS TO SKIP UPGRADES IN MARKET: Use TitanBu and long-click on app. Select "detach from market". You can STILL upgrade manually, but your app will NOT be in the "My Apps" uprade list. This post has been edited by Eiraku: Aug 16 2011, 01:26 AM |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Aug 16 2011, 01:22 AM) ~~@ Eiraku Simple. System does not lock up and/or restart during stress test = stable. Otherwise, something is wrong somewhere.Want to ask something here. Did you know how to gauge stability/stress test? I mean how to know to end result? Also, you guys notice or not my screenies are always either grey-ish or (like now) grey-blue-ish. I think that's how Chainfire3D does it's nightmode adjustments. On my screen right now, everything's adjusted for less brightness and blue-heavy colour balance (to cope with my yellowing screen). QUOTE(waveweaver @ Aug 16 2011, 01:36 AM) ~~ duhh ~~ Yep, that's it. Four to six hours of heavy testing with no lockups and no restarts generally mean the config's ok. Twelve if you wanna be absolutely sure. That's it? Just like that, no result no nothing. I tried it once before. It keep on going for 4 hours non-stop including 1 full hour at 58C. After that i stop the test coz i'm afraid i might fried something inside the phone. Somemore i dont know until when do i have to wait the test to finished :-( Yes, its good enough for initial scanning :-) Or you can try an entire day's worth just for total peace of mind, but then you're stressing your silicone needlessly. And we all know that silicone isn't invincible bro, the more you use, the more it wears out due to heat. |
