The absolute truth is, there's no 'complete protection'.
The problem with AV is, it still requires signatures, and say if the signature for a particular attack is not out yet, your laptop will still be expose.
So, my advice, practice self-security.

FB virus are known to come from the FB apps like games, and rogue links by spams.
So, here's an advice, may be hard to swallow, stop the FB games...reason...FB itself is not responsible nor do they care to check the codes for malicious malware. Next, don't click on links unless you're pretty sure you know who'm its from, better for you not to click and all and type the url yourself.
Don't simply add or approve every request unless you know the person or entity is, this is how spammer gets into your FB list and start spamming you and your friends. This also goes for Private Message.

FB worms are new, and hard to tackle even for AV companies, regardless of brand etc. It's a new turf, anti-malware engineers are struggling to find the solution for twiiter, FB etc malware

Hence, there is NO complete solution in the market, only prevention.

It also look like your're overloading your laptop with one too much AV and anti malware, where 1 is already enough and you don't need 2.
It'll eat your resource, and then you'll blame resource hogging on malware when its actually the AV itself.

So, just practice safe & responsible browsing, 1 AV is enough.

You sure about that?As long as he is not using full version of MBAM,it doesn't eat the resource at all, unless you count the manual scanning.

at the end of the day no matter what..it all depends on your web surf habit ,what site you go,what you download, what enable and what not....

avira and MBAM
or
MSE and MBAM

dont put two antivirus together,it eat memory and also will clash on something whether on threat detecting or real time scanning
