else S2 still the king, at least for 1 to 2 months...

processor and ram works in pairs... but normally is the processor limit the phone... ram is always enough, beside speed of processor, efficiency is more important...

geng processor but suck your battery hard hard, also crap la

so now they keep delevope the processor not only fast, but battery efficient as well

RAM / processor is just like the table (RAM) display books (apps opened) to let people view... when table is big... can put more books., when not enough space at the table... the book keeper (processcor) will keep the old books (apps) and put back to rack (ROM/SD/whatever) ... when your book keeper is fast, then your book view also smooth... when your book keeeper is slow... no matter how big your table (RAM) is... then also useless... this is true for opposite also... but nowadays phone de ram is quite sufficient... so ram issue should not be the problemm

ICS (4.0) = Windows 8
Gingerbread (2.3) = Windows 7
Froyo (2.2) = Windows Vista
Eclair (2.1) = Windows XP
Donuts and earlier = Windows 95/98/ME etc...

SGS on Froyo = turtle... my colleague use it now... my htc desire (rooted) faster than her 1... 200%

if the SGS need you pay more than 600... forget about it... top up and get new phone with GGB or above.

Root = unlock true capability of your phone... but its up to you...

some phone people even help them root.. coz they can sell same phone but faster speed,, better battery, nice UI etc...

i just look my friend SGS 2.2 i believe... cannot OTA update... maybe i missed out sth, where htc can OTA update whenever they have... but if use sense will feel your phone speed not that great....

i'm on my final 3 choices based on my requirement in previous post and hope you guys can share yr points:

1 - HTC Sensation XE
2 - HTC Sensation
3 - HTC Sensation XL

from a htc user... i would recommend Samsung.. HTC sense is nice... but it make your phone slow... same hardware... sense = slow... others= fast.. htc got many fancy fancy function... but you will almost for about it after 2 weeks of playing... those is gimmick..

what most important is speed of your ROM, where sense= resources hogging, battery draining...

beside inside, the outlook, screen size weight , battery life need to be consider also... htc slcd screen perform very bad under the sunlight = almost cannot see...

also, if when you decide to root your phone... any software inside is does not matter, you need the most flagship phone where developer concentrate on it... hardware wise is most important...

anyway, htc phone= 2 years warranty, and quite durable also... 2-3 times drop (about 1 meter), still going strong, where if is iPhone = GG

Csl mi410 overall better and cheaper. But if u plan to use long term, better go for ideos X5 cuz huawei is proper brand while csl only rebadge those brandless china phones
