Hi, Guys I want to buy an android phone most probably a 2nd hand one or ap set.
1. Brand. (HTC/Samsung/Sony Ericsson)
2. Budget. (1k-1.2k)
3. Specs. (1GHz,5mp above)
4. What you need in the phone. Need to use it for gaming purpose, durable and have a good second hand value. Or just cheap

5. What I have in mind. HTC Sensation/Desire HD saw this 2 sold for 1.3k in mudah)
Samsung Galaxy S family
Sony Ericsson Play (can buy this near 1k only and I think if wait for a few months can buy it even cheaper, this is top of my list because of the game pad and they say the slide screen is very sturdy and no wobble xD love a good slide phone. + one-of-a-kind android phone and games look fun on gamepad with optimised performance)

Want other opinions or look from other's perspective what I should buy. I don't want to be too influence by emotion when buying xD

I can't topup more... I'm still selling my HTC Aria on RM 700+ and from there I can top up until 300 to buy a phone. Any other phone worth checking out at price tag around 1k? with 1GHz proc?

Wow just finish researching for CSL Mi-410 ... It's an Incredible Phone!!! not sure want to buy or not because it is CSL =,= but for 800 it seems like the spec rival that of any higher end phone.

Seems like a lot of ppl complain about service and need to flash rom to fix most problem.
Now this is on top of my list along with xperia play. (both have it's pros and cons hard to decide) now juz have to wait phone to sell...

btw CSL Mi-410 or any other phone looks like they're beaten by Xiaomi Phone.

maybe? but the joystick is really like for gaming optimised. Can probably really get into gaming anyway a real gamepad feels better than a virtual one.
However, I'm gonna get the Xiaomi phone instead if it reaches Malaysia xD

MIUI and CM7 (cynogenmod 7) is basically a Rom which you can flash over to your phone and gain more customize option or app. and get rid of all bloatware xD
Xiaomi released best spec list phone to date xD... they also released best rom MIUI ... and if Apple sue them and they *vanish* then the Xiaomi will be like ... limited phone xD

Heard Xiaomi phone pre-order is around august/september then shipping on october not sure if it's international shipping or what la xD

I'm considering for the Xiaomi phone. Not sure about how long can I w8 for it. Another is CSL i410. Is the any other phone that suit my spec?
Would it be wiser to just w8 for Xiaomi phone?

the launcher you can just change it. If you want ... you can root it change it's launcher to launcherpro or other 3rd app maybe even MIUI. (that would solve your UI problem) *y fus about launcher when you can customize everything*
You can also use cynogenmod or other mod to increase performance.
200mAh doesn't seem like much of a difference since S+ is overclock and use super amoled, it would prob consume more battery faster?

you may want to consider Samsung Galaxy R. It's Dual Core and just a tune-down version of SGS II. smaller screen and stuff like that. You can check it out. No one recommend it ... no idea why it's kept low-profile.
