QUOTE(daryl020189 @ Oct 28 2011, 11:30 AM) confuse between the galaxy note and galaxy nexus...which is a better choice? i like the note s-pen but i like the nexus zero shutter and the smoothness of the phone... Design and specs wise, Galaxy Note wins hands down.

QUOTE(daryl020189 @ Oct 28 2011, 11:51 AM) i know the hardware is better but the problem i duno whether it is as smooth as the galaxy nexus or iphone...just scare that touchwiz will lag...my galaxy s is always laggy >.< With the current SGS rom, XXJVT, touchwiz isn't that laggy also. I'm quite sure you will have a smooth experience with the Galaxy Note. QUOTE(nghj @ Oct 28 2011, 11:53 AM) Thanks for the info. This post has been edited by ronaldkh: Oct 28 2011, 12:08 PM

QUOTE(Cooltms @ Oct 31 2011, 07:26 PM) haha yea looking for that too , but plan for coming phones. Coming gs3 better or Nexus prime? Of course Galaxy S III would be better, but you have to wait very long for that. Meanwhile, why not check out the Galaxy Note?

QUOTE(Cooltms @ Oct 31 2011, 11:20 PM) Hhahaha when i saw gs 2 was like When i saw note was like TOO BIG lol thank =) How about htc evo 3D? Lol. Sorry bro, I don't follow HTC phones, so no idea ya. QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Nov 1 2011, 12:16 AM) nowadays phone also big off coz the note really really big still duno can put inside the pocket or not Yeah Note is big. When I put my previous HD2 into my jeans pocket, can clearly see the shape already, plus the pocket is not long enough to cover the whole phone. That's only 4.3 inches. Imagine Note.

QUOTE(xDarkKnightx @ Nov 3 2011, 10:15 AM) You sure you know what you're talking about? The voodoo chip in the original SGS is by far the best. Yeap. Voodoo control ftw.

QUOTE(xDarkKnightx @ Nov 3 2011, 10:22 AM) HTC? Marketing their product with overpriced beats audio. If they offered a decent brand i.e:AKG/Sennheiser/Shure/Koss then I would certainly consider switching into a HTC. But they chose such a mainstream, overpriced and just for trend brand. As for the S2, its not a newer version. If i'm not mistaken the i9100-G is meant for other countries. There shouldn't be any original sets here. All of them should be AP unless Samsung actually makes an official statement. They really like mixing up things to get people confused but since the i9100-G runs on a OMAP4430, the original SGS2's roms can't be used unless they port it over. Its almost a different phone all in all. But the battery's capacity is higher and that's a plus. SME is selling the original G version in Malaysia. And apparently no custom roms are available for the G version yet. So those who want to flash custom roms should go for the non G version. This post has been edited by ronaldkh: Nov 3 2011, 10:27 AM

QUOTE(xDarkKnightx @ Nov 3 2011, 10:28 AM) Ehh. Thats really shitty. Why would they want to sell two versions. Is it at the same price?
Non-G version recommended. Less hassle, less confusion, less bricking. Same price I guess, but non G version should be 'rare' since most stocks are replenished with the G version. QUOTE(ngkhanmein @ Nov 3 2011, 10:34 AM) if wan flash ROM better go for G version right? mean G is consider AP Nope. Custom roms are not available yet for the newer G version. And no, i9100G is not an AP set. This post has been edited by ronaldkh: Nov 3 2011, 10:36 AM

QUOTE(ngkhanmein @ Nov 3 2011, 01:19 PM) u said non-G good but my LYN friend astria said like this "clock for clock Exynos is better than OMAP4, no doubt... but Galaxy Nexus is using OMAP4 as well... that should mean sth..." G version = You can't flash custom roms/kernels on it for now as it's only available in certain countries. Less support. Non G version = You can flash custom roms/kernels on it. Definitely more support from XDA. Can you see the difference?

QUOTE(vedderis @ Nov 3 2011, 01:38 PM) mayb for now..but once nexus start spreading..i thnk developer will give suport in it also coz they use same chipset.. But for now, the non G version is more worth it for those who love to tweak their phones.
