with your budget i would suggest Desire HD.. why?:

1. Its been around for awhile so the price is cheaper, extra can buy other accessories, give to your gf/bf, your mum, me tongue.gif , LOL
2. DHD has a lot of choices regarding ROM, kernel, apps, and MOST important of all, it is easy to root.
3. redshift theory - processing power increase double every 2 years.. meaning dual core phones get better and cheaper within 2 years... tongue.gif tongue.gif

Depends on what ROM that the user uses ... mine last 18 hours normal usage.
