Maxis is going to give me a Xperia Arc or Nexus S. Which one should i take?

Hi people, I was looking for a phone to get around December. What phone can I get for less than 2k preferably? Was considering S2 or Galaxy Nexus or the Note (Maybe cheaper during December) Use it for online and games and good battery life Only 17. Thanks!

Anybody have experience with huawei ideos u8150? I worried about the service and if it's difficult to get spare parts like battery etc. Or if any other brand battery can fit into it?

My friend asked me for opinion to buy new phone. His eyes currently set on Galaxy Nexus, but then he wants to hear from me first before buying lol.. since I very blur on alot of high end phones I wanna consult you sifus, his budget is below 3k and I was like .___.
What else he told me:
heavily used on media/video/music
great camera for video and photos
and a fantastic screen

So what do you guys think? I don't think Note will be nice for him though...

He doesn't want note, too big and he doesn't really draw draw. lol. Now still eyeing for Galaxy Nexus but he said the 5MP is a let down...

1. Brand: HTC/Samsung nexus Preferable. (other brand could be considered)
2. Budget: Less than Rm2500
3. Specs: dual core, 1gb ram, clear screen under sunlight, upgradeable to ice-cream sandwich (android 4.0)
4. What you need in the phone:
~htc sense.. i really interested on the HTC UI after looking my friend phones.. (not sure either other phone has the good UI as HTC.. I kinda bias because I never experience with other brands.)
and is it the new samsung nexus (code: prime) can used htc sense if rooted?)
~Phone that not hang/lag at all (if possible)
~Skype is the most important..    (used it to contact my family at Malaysia..)

Considered to buy HTC sensation xe, xl, evo 3d or samsung nexus..
but cons:
- HTC sensation only got 768 MB Ram
- HTC sensation not sure if it can be upgrade to android 4.0 or not, if so it's might take a while for htc to upgrade it.
- Samsung nexus not sure either it can put htc sense on it
- Samsung nexus only have build in memory, no external memory (SD card).
-evo 3d might feel little bit dizzy when using a while..

Hope all android sifu could help me making a decision.. Really appreciate your help.. :-)

p.s: This is my first android phone, and i would like to used it for my android application development class.. (all the cons that I put is from review that I read..)

+1, Arc S nice, price for AP drop d.. not much diff with Arc.. 11xx only 

If u don't play with custom roms i would say galaxy R, dual core and nice price..why u guys recommend arc S? Camera, ICS update & more custom rom support seems to be the main reason u guys recommend arc S? But galaxy R seems more future proof with dual core processor wor, dunno why it is not popular at all

Seems that all recommending SGS2 nonG version. Let say that there is no more nonG original version,is SGS2 G still recommended?.or other smartphone is much better than SGS2 G?

Rather not discussed about product that not being released yet eg SGS3 which is unknown. Now even the price of hdd up by 20%. Ok it is either razr, sensation xe and sgs2g. Thanks.
