Wow, Xiaomi looks pretty cool! No keyboard, but a fat battery and a great CPU! I wonder if the custom software has English mode. I'll have to check it out at the market!

htc legend. its a decent android phone, look around at the garage sales threads.

there are other samsung phones, but i doubt they will be lower then 500

well, galaxy 5 2nd hand is below rm500

maybe u can consider Samsung Galaxy Y (RM499 ori new set)

xperia ray also quite good for under 1k phone. i don't recommend htc legend tho, try to get at least 1ghz smartphone for better user experience.

I am thinking of buying new phones. Any suggestions?

1. Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung or HTC

2. Budget (RM 1k-1.3k) planning to buy on dec or jan in case any price falls

3. Minimum Spec ---> 1Ghz processor, 5mp camera, Compact design

4. Good sound/music quality (main concern) and good camera

cannot say like dat bro, both got their pros and cons. i initially wanted a white s2, but when i wanted to buy it i found out samsung give asia inferior cpu/gpu in the newer batch of s2.... potong stim.

for me i can't accept that fact(maybe some of u guys can)... thats y i jump to sensation xe.

But the xperia arc s isnt more than RM1.3k? i tot is around rm1.6k?

oh ya. my bad, hehe. but since u buying dec-jan, might drop price eh? try xperia ray or xperia neo. i didn't notice u wanted compact design...since arc is quite big.

samsung gives out cheap earphones(my s2 fren say one), nokia is not android(u r asking for android i assume, since u post here), htc has overpriced beats audio.
