Hi all,

I'm new to SE Xperia X10. Just got my phone from my brother bcos he bought the new Nokia N9 Meego based.

Ive used Samsung Galaxy 5 and Motorola Milestone (someone stole it) before.

From what I've read, rooting and installing custom ROM is quite a scare. Both G5 and milestone is quite easy.

Right now I'm still on stock (i think)

Android 2.3.3 Baseband 2.1.71

question :

1. Is there any easier way like using Z4Root?
2. How do I know my Xperia is Bootlocked?
3. Is there anyone have try using LION’S PRIDE 2.3.3 V2 Released 10/7/11? Whats the best ROM around for xperia?

I really need your help. Can anyone show me the step to unlocked x10 bootloader?

I've been reading xda and modaco, but its still confusing.

My phone is rooted and running on Oodie Prime X 2.3.7. My kernel version is 2.6.29 zdzihu-mod4.05. And I would like to flash Doomlord's kernel or other custom rom for unlocked bootloader.

What should I do first, 2nd and 3rd? Do I have reflash to stock rom?

I thought i can unlocked withhout touching the rom.
