hi guys, i just bought a 2nd hand xperia x10 for my small bro, white color. it comes preinstalled with 2.3.3 smile.gif

right now, im installing wolfs v6.0 gaming version custom rom. is it any better than other versions posted? btw there's too many version of rom, i'm confused which one to choose rclxub.gif
*
try CM7 ZMOD003, as if for now if anyone else tell you there are better custom ROM than ZMOD003, they are lying, I've been using this for around a month, no reason for me to change to other ROM, it is super fast, super smooth, if you dont believe, just install other custom ROM and see, their scrolling is laggy and sluggish, never smooth at all, but in ZMOD, everything is different, just nice, and no bugs at all, everything works perfect, didnt encounter even a single faulty error on the ROM

u tried this?

the thread said got some bugs...
*
nope, I've just installed ICS launcher from the market only, looks so so so so so so so so so cool! but the thing is that it is laggy on the launcher, so, keeping it for now, not using it till there's a new update, other than laggy, everything else works great! hope they will implement the smooth scrolling in the homescreen and app drawer

I use the official CM7 and it's the best I've ever tried. I have no problems at all. Everything is smooth. And I always have lots of free memories too.

With CM7-ZMOD, I always get FC on CyanogenMod settings upon bootup. No matter what I do, it just won't work.

Am I lying?
*
nope, never encounter that before, not even once

Ivan how much free RAM you have upon fresh boot up? Just wondering biggrin.gif

The thing about FXP042 is that you need to unlock your bootloader, and I haven't done that.. i'm afraid tongue.gif
*
didnt noticed how much RAM i gt during fresh boot, but normally on average i gt around 60-80 RAM
and I am afraid to unlock bootloader too, or else, i'll test all those unlock bootloader ROM

yet...still not given up hope on WB ROM though...for now...stick to CM7....super like it...
*
I wonder why so many people like WB ROM, just gotta admit his older ROM is better, and have better battery life, other than that, nothing else is nice

*
not becoz it's 1GHZ that cant support, it's because the RAM, at 1st I bought X10 becoz i thought it's 1GHZ processor could support lots of stuff even in the future, and i ignored the RAM, and I WAS WRONG! RAM has important part to a speedy phone

for now...yes...use CM7...in fact now i'm using Cm7 now, change from WB v6 ROM cause cannot stand the battery life.
now using CM7, the battery life is like, improve 500%. previously using WB ROM, battery last less than few hours, max half day...now using CM7, last more than 1 day...2days is possible...(minor usage, few messaging and calls only)

but i'm really hoping to see v7 will improve much better than previous ROM...plus new interface as claimed by WB earlier....
Ivan113, have u try the Steel Blue on CM7? really nice...you should use VMOD too....nice also..
*
nope, havent tried steel blue, VMOD very nice? much more better? I'm already very satisfy with my CM7 ZMOD003 now, so didnt decide to change unless I feel other ROM is attractive, and I've already give up on Wolfbreak, nowdays his ROM is all bad, just bad

huh? seriously?
i use xrecovery to flash wb rom, just boot from xrecovery and choose the zip file to flash, simple as 123..

but i read the steps for flash CM7, it seem must unlock the bootloader, and install flash tool on computer and many many more  cry.gif

so u mean i can just flash the CM7 from xrecovery?
*
zzz!

then do not install CM7 ZMOD VMOD, need unlock bootloader, very troublesome, flash ZMOD003 edi can, no need unlock bootloader, i ownself lazy want to research about how to unlock bootloader also,

so, the best solution is CM7 ZMOD003

U sure RAM depends on apps install? r u kd? RAM is RAM, storage is storage. LOL
*
lol!! research before you talk, some apps are keep in background even after you exit them, like viber, poweramp, facebook, google+, swiftkey X, they all run in background ( or foreground? not sure ), so that apps like facebook can notify you when u get new notifications, like gmail and googleplus too.
