i just got starter edition. cause i scared to buy full now since blizzcon is 1month+ away ny and if heart of the swarm is announced super soon. then i will probably poop my self. so anyone care to train me?

I don't think HotS is that significant. I really feel without WoL, HotS is unplayable

that will be crazy to pay around rm 400 to buy WoL and HotS if ppl are going to start playing after the release of HotS

yes, i think it will work like warcraft 3. you need to buy WoL, then only you can buy Hots. if like that, im thinking Hots will be slightly cheaper, maybe rm150 or what...if the software engine and all shits are based on WoL.

guess i'll just play starter edition till my finals are over. =_=

best way to learn is see teamliquid stream, u will get first person view of how they play

i dun think (IMO) TLO is a good ppl to learn from.......compare to others. he might be btr but you cant get a discipline strat from him, only entertaining ones...and he is kinda getting by with incredible mouseclick all the while...

for zerg, obviously idra, and if u want to know how to use infestor in all matchup, destiny. if u want to learn how to no gas expand, spanishiwa
these ppl offers standard play, you can watch them for 1 hour to use similar strat on ladder, and see how they dismantle diff kind of strats. a strat that can kill 100 strat is btr than 100 strat to kill 1 strat.

terran, i know rainbow and byun streams. for more stable streamer, hashe

protoss huk all the way......he is really good on ladder.

that's grandmaster's lvl playing style, multitasking ur units at once, its called APM(actions per minute)

dragon can see easier but liquid hero's apm is too much for my eyes to handle

Seeing other ppl play won't get you to anywhere, play for yourself until you understand how the game works, then only watch the high APM player plays, you will understand and eventually you will slowly get fast.

Well at least that's for me.

around 45% players in gsl (korean sc2 tournament) pick terran,lol

i recommend u to use terran~ if not later u will QQ with MBRT as toss or everything as zerk

to learn i would suggest spade/stalife for terran...much better

i watch to learn the builds up to a certain point.

I recommend you to watch "dSelect". He didnt stream, maybe look for his replay. His build in TvT, TvP or TvZ is very solid very macro based build. not spectacular but certainly one of the most effective playing style. His opening is very consistent, easier to observe and copy. Korean playstyle sometime too fancy. Especially Slayers.

holy crap zerg is hard as heck, protoss very hard for me to transition into the units like DTs and HTs and i dunno how to use Sentries i cant even beat computer using those two. zerg's need to expand is too much for my multitasking abilities lol.
