Common incident would be the time when you stand up when sitting down on a floor for a long period of time. You'll feel the 'dizziness' in relative to light to strong one.

QUOTE(dreamsky999 @ Aug 8 2011, 09:18 PM) Common incident would be the time when you stand up when sitting down on a floor for a long period of time. You'll feel the 'dizziness' in relative to light to strong one. low haemoglobin. actually it normally happen to most human because when we stand up after sitting down for a long period, our blood flow decrease, blood comes down to feet due the gravity cause the blood flow decrease as the oxygen decrease in our brain. but from light to strong one is consider a symptom because IDA patient has low level of hb, nice.. erm think u guys might have got the definition of IDA wrongly
IDA basically means anemia (low hemoglobin (low blood cells)) secondary to iron deficiency Anemia may occur due to many causes such as B12 deficiency, folate deficiency etc.not only due to iron deficiency When u have iron deficiency,u may have a huge array of symptoms which includes easy tiredness, inactivity, etc.severe forms may include shortness of breath, dizziness, chest pains, palpitations etc. Iron deficiency may be caused by decreased iron absorption e.g decreased iron intake, hookworm infestations etc. Increased iron loss/iron usage e.g. Pregnancy, internal bleed, severe forms of periods (menorrhagia),per rectal bleed, etc. Treatment may range from from regular iron supplementation e.g Ferrous sulphate, ferrous fumarate, iron Imferon injections to blood transfusions if the hb drops below 8g/dl. Its not anemia caused by standing up after siting down for a long time. This post has been edited by juliusglc: Aug 8 2011, 11:49 PM |
