hey guys after reading all reviews and comments i'm very tempted to get focus tdci for myself...question is...for tat kind of price is it worth?

1. not changing car for very long time...at least until the car has failed on me
2. normal city driving and daily travel distance of at least 44km from home to work
3. now still unattached but plan to use it as family car

my worry is:
1. our diesel quality not tat good (mayb u can suggest which pump to go for like caltex or bhp)
2. the car might not hv any resale value when i decide to let go in the future since mostly ppl will go for hybrid/EV
3. diesel/petrol fuel will dry out soon since it's finite resource
4. i read the maintenance/service cost is very high for this car...is this true???does those technicians capable of servicing this type of car as i know they r bunch of noobs

wat do u guys think?to buy or not to buy?by the way how much discount and freebies they r offering now?

mayb u guys hv other suggestions?mayb fiesta is good enough for me?

the discount depend on model???i thought tdci onli got either sport or ghia sedan and both hv same price?

u mean how fast they wan clear stock?so focus tdci alrdy wan to reach end of life?

is this tdci units cbu from thailand as well or directly from europe?

is the 11k discount from ford alone?means if SA can further reduce based on their commission the price can reach within 100k?

by the way is it tdci cbu unit from thailand or straight from europe?if i wan purchase now i scared the car got alot of problem coz now their rayong plant flooded liao

not onli ganas...interior looks more superior compare to sedan version...sedan one got the antique look lol...like old ppl car...if sedan has same interior with sport tat will b nice

lol...how long u hv been driving the car?the beige colour easier to get dirty...u got put any leather protection?in terms of dimension both HB and sedan have same cabin size rite?juz HB got smaller boot

waa onli 2 months can start to see the difference alrdy...really need to put like seat cover or any type of layer to protect those leather...

yea i know...tatz wat i meant...the dashboard also looks better tat way...

but also hv to go with my pocket size...haha...of coz i wan sport but if can less more it would b very helpful..if not everyday onli eat lalang...yea i juz can't wait to test drive it...very itchy to feel the raw monster power man

hmm...if they increase price for focus is not good for me lol...anyhow by dec i will decide...in the mean time will keep in touch with any news regarding focus...

when will they bring in the new focus?those hv been launched in overseas...like the new look for the sedan...

hmm...i see...anyway lets say if i'm willing to get lesser discount for sedan..probably same discount as for sport..but i wan its interior to be of sport's type is this possible?i know nobody hv ever done this but juz curious...in the end both side win...i get wat i wan...they get their business deal...

earlier was 2010 models...but now onli left sedan...sports finish alrdy...if follow the trend and also car depreciation law...year end or jan 2012 they will probably give 11k discount or more for sports and 20k for sedan for 2011 models la...if they never do this they can't clear their stock..u know la tdci not received very well in m'sia due to msian mindset tat diesel engine is dirty la...noisy la...pollution la...

so far still with same amount of discount (7k for sports, 11k for sedan) or free ipad2 64g wifi...probably nearing end of dec u will see more discounts/freebies...the same goes for other cars too...

slightly off topic...nissan teana got 3-4k discounts and free navi and aerokit plus 2 yrs free maintenance...
