if only the new focus has got tdci version

just test drive titanium +.. round about 80-90kmh firm firm... very impressed.. any car same range or below works better? blis works fine as well.. actually my intension is on fiesta.. is it worth to top up for focus?

Sure. The Focus is slightly more powerful. It has 5HP and 4Nm torque more. I test drove it twice already. Good handling too.

The Sports mode on most cars is for a more spirited drive not just for overtaking and hill climbing. If the Focus is the same as most cars, then the Sports mode actually 'holds' on to each gear longer before it upshifts thus giving you more acceleration albeit higher fuel consumption of course. The Sports mode uses more of the lower gears to create acceleration.

Very true. i step 30% of the gas in each increment. I notice totally flooring it, the pull effect is not as good compared to 30% increment flooring.

I keep my rev to around 2-3k also. Should play with the S mode and rev it to 2.8k then shift, really fun.

Can you share how is the maintenance regime like for tdci ? Not familiar with Diesel cars. Any known risks/issues with diesel cars with our diesel quality and problems ?
