Hey seniors! biggrin.gif Just wanna say thank you for all your help and time in answering my silly questions here~

I got JPA and decided to take that offer up and I'm officially a non-UTP-ian now. :C Kinda sad though. It was a memorable journey...Although only 2 weeks in there.

With the scorching heat =='' Paprika being so farrrrr....it was fun... (except some parts in the orientation weeks)....lol...

I hope to visit UTP again in the future icon_rolleyes.gif I've yet to swim in the Swimming Pool biggrin.gif

Cotton buds on washing machine?

This is the cotton buds trick. Basically, anything that uses this type of coin mechanism
this trick should work on. It's a bit tricky to get going at first, but with a little practice you
should have no problems. This is kind of hard to explain but I will do my best.
1. Take the required number of cotton buds and remove the cotton from one end so you
have one end with cotton and the other without.
2. Slowly push the sliding mechanism forward while looking in the slit. You will see a
little hole open up (This can also be done by putting the cotton less end of the bud into
the slit and applying a
slight bit of pressure while pushing the sliding mechanism forward until the cotton bud
slides in). **Note: The hole is approx. 3cm wide so your window of opportunity is very
small
3. Once you see the hole open up, begin inserting the cotton buds into each slit. You may
need to move the sliding mechanism slightly forwards and backwards to get the
remaining buds in. They need to go in
quite far but you will need to be able to grasp them so don't push them in too far.
4. Grab hold of the ends of the cotton buds and push the sliding mechanism in all the
way.
5. Slowly pull back the sliding mechanism while pulling on the cotton buds until they
come out. I have used this trick on washing machines, dryers, pool tables, video games,
and many different types of dispensers to name a few. Good luck .. and remember ...
ssshhh!

I forgot to mention that you have to include your short sem study plan as well.

If you want an example, pm me your email address.

(1) I believe your parents love you so much because they tried to reason out with you. If you think critically, “What does the fact that UTP is very near to your hometown has to do with your intention to study at UNMC with the scholarship offered?hmm.gif

(2) Then your parents might say they want you to stay close to them. Ask your parents further: “What does the fact that staying close to you has to do with my intention to study at UNMC with the scholarship offered?unsure.gif

(3) Unless your parents tell the real reason that sounds acceptable to you, there is no direct causal relationship to show your decision to study at UNMC with the scholarship offered is wrong. icon_rolleyes.gif

(4) Anyhow, if you choose UTP, it's a wonderful decision too because you will have a true good senior Thibs to lend you a helping hand whenever you call for assistance and guidance. blush.gif

Hahaha your replies are always so long and deep. I appreciate that. notworthy.gif I'm now in UTP and I like it here, except for the super hot weather like a desert, and the food here. Being near to home makes me feel good as I get to go home very often. smile.gif

Guys, what are my odds of getting in UTP with a 3.15 Matriculation PNGK?
Be honest. Cause I think my odds are quite thin. sad.gif

Yes. Thank you very much. thumbup.gif
I'm actually repeating ODE, so that's why I'm asking for a short sem. Thank goodness my CGPA isn't under 2.00. sweat.gif

Oh that reminded me. Last semester I applied for an exemption for O.D.E, but I messed it up and I had to take it that sem eventhough my exemption request was accepted (but obviously since I have already registered the request was deemed 'cancelled'). I took it (again), I hated it (more than ever), I flunked it (for upcoming UG students, avoid failing ODE laugh.gif ). Is there any chance that I can still exempt it this sem so I don't have to repeat it? It sounds silly but maybe there's a way? tongue.gif
