"The TravelMate 8481 has a magnesium-aluminium chassis, aimed to make it more resilient to knocks and bumps and features metal hinges – a common weak point of laptop design."
With claim battery life up to 9 hours, most likely using SSD and without external GeForce graphics option....

QUOTE(biatche @ Aug 8 2011, 01:55 PM) so does it have GT 520M or it isn't included? Malaysia version of 8481 excludes GeForce option....

QUOTE(siksa @ Aug 8 2011, 01:59 PM) if it is hd3000 + ssd, then it is good enough. That's why I pick option 3: 64GB SSD + 320GB HDD would be perfect road warrior, something even MBA and Samsung series 9 13" cannot do... But seem only 3 people pick that option...

ULV + 4 cell should last quite long lah....
Thanks for warranty info - 3 years is quite good value. Now see whether we can find mSATA SSD locally or not?
