Last few days watched Life of Pi..A very good movie. I heard this movie also use our Malaysian people in CGI department.

Indeed, the movie is very very good. Ang Lee deserved it....

Talked about Heat by Michael Mann, it was actually a remake of his earlier film , which I can't recall the name of the film.  In that earlier film both the cop and the thief were obviously acted by some relative unknown actors.  But the film is no less impactful I can recall.  Just that I cannot find the name of that film.

Here is a horror story young'un.... to get general knowledge during the 80s.... you have read to something called.... THE ENCYCLOPEDIA!!!! Things made out of paper, usually is several volumes... You might still see samples of it in Libraries (if you are lucky) Here is the horror part... there was NO internet in the 80s (well, not much access and information anyway)!!!!!!????! No, internet cafes, not handphones, no iPad. NOTHING OF VALUE TO YOUSE!! And yet, we survived!!?! I hope you are able to sleep tonite...

finished watching Rush. this is my movie of the year as i am an f1 fan. a must watch for fans. lauda vs hunt. mclaren vs ferrari. hope that there will be schumacher vs hakkinen someday.

I Just watched

and... LIKED IT!!

Casting is good. You actually care for the characters!!

The storyline is actually pretty strong.

Okay, some of the car chasing sequence is downright impossible (do they show Mythbusters in Hong Kong )

This is probably on the of the better movie to come out for Hong Kong for the pass... 5 years!!

This is a Cop & Robber movie.

One thing bugs me though...

Rain Man (1988)

Probably one of my all time favorite movie.

Dustin Hoffman had won an Oscar for his performance here, and I seriously believe that Tom Cruise and Dustin should have won the award together.

Tom Cruise is very committed to all his roles, I do believe there is and intangible something he put into this character (Charlie Babbitt)!!

If you like action movie, this is NOT a movie for you.

If you like drama and human interest movie, this is definitely one for you.

This movie also lifted the fog on the mental condition known as artistic autism.

One more point of interest about this movie is, the first week box office for the movie was 7 million, nothing to shout about, the second 8 million, the week after that 11 etc, etc. The box office kept growing and grown and the movie stay at the theaters for a long long time. The final box office in 1988 is $172,825,435 which in today's term is $341,552,243.08. Not bad for a movie that had a budget of 25 Million.

I strongly recommend this to people who like drama.
