Started really slow.. fact is it took me 3 sittings to finish tis dutch spoken WW2 flick but de ending was nicely twisted ..

Not as good as de flick abt Johnny Cash.. but it isnt too bad a flick abt de Country n Western music scene in america..

PERFECT GETAWAY

Surprisingly.. tis is veri gud.. started off a tad slow but it built up n d endings veri intriguing..

Taut thriller - keeps u guessing til de last 15m of d flick.. beautiful hawaiian scenery thou' its off de beaten path n not of Oahu..
VDO is gud n ODO is oso gud..
As a frnd once said .. Timothy Olyphant is brilliant n his flicks are definitely worth watchin..

Pretty gud action flick .. Chris Evans is hilarious here .. [ a man to watch .. ]
Saldana's eye candy is too thin here.. skin n bones only.. Megan Fox would be better..

Great vdo .. Odo is kinda disappointing..mind u , its not bad but just kinda 'lackin' a bit since its an action movie..

9 Songs got better action but de actors/actresses are butt ugly..

Like Bro Jchong said.. I dont tink u can blame tat on de codec but more like ttl specific.. I hv a few chinese ttl which[ I tink its Ip Man ] which hv 3 different lossless odo on one disc n truly.. I can't really tell de difference with wat I choose .. in matter of dynamics.. but then again its also of different dialect..
Maybe u can choose another ttl to compare..

Its not bad n de snowy scenery of Highland Kashmir is nice..
Storyline is a bit predicatable n too patriotic .. if u ask me..
VDO is gud ; ODO is as usual for a b'wd flick veri gud..

A revisit for me is tis oldie from Ron Howard abt a bunch of old folks and aliens..
Special efx seems dated when u consider d later offerings..
Good actin frm de veteran stars.. indeed
VDO is pretty good considering how old it is
ODO has also been remastered to lossless


BROTHERS BLOOM
I am a big fan of Weisz n I like Ruffolo n Brodie too.. de jap chik frm Babel is veri funny too..
Its a tad confusing, as all 'con' flicks go [ its more confusing than Oceans T even..] n it goes all de way to de end [while like in Oceans , it explains itself at d end..]
Weisz plays tis realy reclusive n super rich, eccentric [tats puttin it mildly] single lady who suffers from epileptic fits.. She 'collects hobbies' n is pretty adapt at most tings she put her mind to..
She crashes 3 lamborghinis here n one is delivered as soon as one is totalled .. all in yellow.. kekeke
She is also de target of de brothers ; Bloom n Stephen[Brodie n Ruffulo]. career con artists for their latest 'job'.. suffice to say complications arise when Bloom falls for de beautiful Wiesz..

VDO is gud but not great..
ODO is fine too .. sum LFE moments cos there are lots of explosions..Surrs work when the actions starts, all courtesy of Bang Bang [Kikuchi]

I didnt have veri high expectations goin into tis aussie flick but its surprisingly gud.. Storyline is similar to an old brat pack flik called RED DAWN where de practically impossible happens ' Being colonised '..
N de story is told via a teens perspective..
Its a bit farfetched but stil plausible..

VDO is gud in my mkv filed..
ODO is only lossy 5.1 but has veri aggresive surr activity durin de 'fight' scenes

Its not an action flick n those expecting Bourne stuf is sadly mistaken.. even thou its Pip K D*ck flick but its not veri sci fi.. d rvws were rite in sayin tis is a love story.. n its nice.. kinda like throw everytin at them but they still come back together again..
