I never get bored of this movie

I was testing the XBMC full screen on the extended second display (HDTV) via MBA using thunderbolt cable. Im impressed my Onkyo 515 detects DD 5.1channel audio from Superman 1080p from dailyflix and output to 7.1ch to all my speakers.



I hope Marvericks can do the same via airplay.

Yeah i think so, and OSX definitely not supporting DTS-HDMA & Dolby TrueHD but i dont think any repo in XBMC has that too, even in torrent.

So to get good lossless sound to worth the 1080p movies that we're watching, we still need take out some cash to buy bluray. (be it ori or RM8 one)

I do but then when we get our movies from XBMC or Piratebay these sources will not carry the lossless DTS HDMA and Dolby True HD because the size are big. (more than 7GB of mkv/mp4 if you properly ripped and compressed from BluRay.)

Even the cheapest pirated bluray also carry at least 25GB with DTS-HDMA/Dolby TrueHD 5.1/7.1

My Asiabox already kaput (blinking blue light of death) and apple Tv so far only play 3.1 ch audio via airplay. There is a complicated guide on how to decode movies and play surround using ATV but im not interested to do all that hassle of converting existing media or ripping Bluray and all. Might as well just directly play it using PS3. (yes ps3 is my main bluray player and media player now-PS3server installed in old desktop for torrent )

maybe htpc is the best solution i think and yes im still going to cinema to watch latest movies, torrenting top 100 movies and buy pirated bluray. (plus watch full lenght unsensored asian movies in youtube too)

What can i say I love movies!

Hdworld movie definitely carries DTS-HDMA cause the files are huge 39-45GB per movies

its a playback from macbook air to HDTV as extended display via thunderbolt cable. The extended display has been upscaled to 4K (click on the picture for original screenshot in 4K resolution)

Only with thunderbolt -hdmi cable i can get more than 5.1 multichannel sound (DTS/DD/DTSHDMA/DD TrueHD) to my 7.2 ch AVR, if airplay via appleTV only 3.1ch

it's common for movies from DailyFlix with 1080p DTS5.1 or DD5.1 but DDtrueHD or DTSHDMA only from the download coz the file is big (This Elysium is 10GB) The original seeder claimed it's 7.1 but XBMC detected only DTSHDMA 5.1, i doubt it is 7.1 too coz the file for bluray movie 7.1 DTSHDMA easily more than 25GB

try using volume controller from tv/ avr/ remote control/ pc keyboard or whatever device u r using with xbmc installed

The movie is 2hours 20 minutes and 30 seconds and im still watching it.

It's been awhile we watch good war movie. This one not bad 4/5



Great cast line up too

since you guys said Carrie no good so i waited til it arrives at the bay/xbmc and it did last weekend.



Despite of the trailer already shown most of it, there are 2 amazing scenes (when the school girl died in the car with the face stuck in the windscreen and when the mother did). There is also a surprise in the end of the movie

3.5/5 from me.
