Pacific Rim is another Transformer movie with Ultraman monsters on steroids.
Story line sucks and the dialogue is even worse but the bass is immense.

What is the main difference between This special cut version than the original theatrical release ?

Already use media player(currently pioneer 450)for 2 years with no problem,i"m a bit particular about sq and aq..used to buy bluray disc ori or not almost everyday bcos like u i"m crazy about movie...any language will do.
But i"m not downloading myself bcos of the poor connection in my area,so particularly i get my movie from hdworld.biz,already done a lot of test..no different with the ori bluray disc..

Also got oppo 103 but cant read iso file and most bdmv file,waiting for jailbreak..

I want to try to play bd iso file. Just can't do that yet because my Hdd not big enough. Most of movie just download a 720p mkv file. Play it on my ac ryan pohd2. Really curious the different between mkv and actual bluray quality on my 50" plasma. Just want to compare PQ only because I can't enjoy a true hd dts yet. My htib just can support ac3 through optical.

One other point I would like to make is all ACTION in this movie is actually CGI... so the what is a practical shot and what is CGI is really REALLY blurred!! Very impressive work indeed.

Another peeve that I have about this movie is the last scene between Superman and the American army, that really ruffles my feathers...

The Croods is also a nice surprsie. I actually enjoyed it more than Despicable 2.

I have never watched Demon Seed and Phantoms is probably my favorite Dean Koontz novel. I am actually very shock with how badly it was translated to the movie (with Ben Affleck)

If I was ever in a movie, I wish (one can always fantasize ) I could have Eric Stoltz's (I was Marty McFly for two weeks) role, catatonic for most of the movie and then get paid!!

I forgot Eric Stoltz was in  The Fly II (1989)... He is always on a verge of making it big, but never does...

I was actually referring to the fact that Robert Zemeckis & Steven Spielberg first offered the role of Marty McFly (Back To the Future) to Michael J. Fox and he actually turned it down because of schedule conflict with his Family Ties shoot. They hired Eric Stoltz, and actually shot two weeks worth of stuff with Eric, but Steven was still unhappy with him as Marty McFly. So he approached Michael again, and Production of Family Ties moved things around, so that Michael could do Back To The Future. With that, Eric Stoltz was fired from the movie... They then reshoot what they had done with Eric with Michael as Marty McFly...

As i said, always on the verge but never managing to...

this vol 8, i watched/listened to it yesterday - i find it not so good - a few tracks are too old, poor video, dts only.

i actually recommend vol 1 - this one is all dtshdma, better selection of live performances, imo, superb video and audio. i hv the full concerts for some of them, but it's nice to have such a compilation.

will check vol 7 soon. if any good, i'll shout!

total, think 10 volumes.
