Kiss the Girls (1997)

I miss movies like this.

Decent storyline (Mystery/Thriller).

Good cast (Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd & Cary Elwes).

And the film is well executed!!

If you are into sick serial killer, this movie is for you!

I would have to say Ashley Judd probably looked her best here!!

If that is not motivation enough to watch this movie, I don't know what will!! laugh.gif

She's All That (1999)

A teenage RomCom.

There are two thing that I have to say about this movie.

1) So many names in this one, Freddie Prinze Jr., Rachael Leigh Cook, Matthew Lillard, Anna Paquin & Usher Raymond and they were ALL so young...

2) I forgot Paul Walker was in this one. It is still sad to see him...

A simple, light, mildly amusing and predictable movie.

There is a market for this kind of movies.

rewatched it last year, yeah a pretty uplifting movie, and a simple one at that.
good when you want a movie that fits the whole family i'd say.

Turbo (2013)

How do  you lose USD 52 million dollar at the box office?

Easy, you make a CGI movie about about a snail who can out run an F1 car... laugh.gif

Even on paper the concept look weak.

How the movie got made is really beyond me...

Poor Ryan Reynold, he had had made several big budget doo doos...

There really isn't much else to say about this movie...

Just... weak...

Lost in Translation (2003)

I was never thought that Scarlett Johansson can acting so innocently, so young and so beautifully.... don't miss this if you are Scarlett fans.

I give her 4/5 rating.  tongue.gif

This is like one of the most forgettable movie as i watch it during my teenage years.
and i watch it again last year it really opened up my eyes the magic of coppola's directing.
very underrated and i always ask my friends to rewatch it and even they still haven't yet understand the simplicity in that movie.
it doesnt use big dialogues and doesnt portray over complexed acting depths.
but the undertones of certain scenes accompanied by good music, paused shots/scenery
sinked in the emotions that is let to grow and doesn't seem to be played out or rushed.

A very good movie to watch if you'd think you've transition into someone who can enjoy a movie without overtwist plot and actions.

If you could peel the layers of emotions entrapped in this movie with all it's beautiful sceneries, you know you are ready to watch a movie like match factory girl(1990)

or girl with a pearl earring(2003) (ps sca jo is in it! as an artist rather than a bimbo'ed out actress)

Human Centipede is in a league of it's own...

I really cannot think of anything that comes close to it... wait.. I have..

Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom (1975)

And have to add, Human Centipede is really REALLY unusual...

Hey guys.. looking for a recent (2012-2014) movie to watch..
Something that doesn't bore me for long periods of time. I've recently tried watching Jack Ryan: Shawdow Recruit and I stopped watching after 3/4 of the movie since it was just too boring for some reason.

Action, adventure, romantic comedy, etc suggestions are all welcome. Not a fan of horror movies so don't suggest any of those.
