Fair Game while waiting for Battleship to arrive.

Not much action but quite entertaining. It was based on a true event of Valerie Plame, an ex-CIA officer betrayed by White House.

Just managed to watch The Dark Knight Rises. This BD has been collecting dust ever since it reached my doorstep.

The AQ at times being recorded too extreme especially the strong pounding hot LFE. It should have been a little lower. Anyway, this movie is nice to watch although the second half seems a bit of rush in storyline there.

Watchd Dredd (very similar to Raid Redemption), Total Recall & Resident Evil : Retribution.

Total Recall quite ok but RE is just pure popcorn flick to pass time.

Yet to watch Bourne Legacy. Dust already half inch thick.

Watched Skyfall yesterday. This movie has been collecting dust. Quite ok than I expected it to be.

I remember that when I was watching this in the cinema, the air force one sequence was breathtaking. I remember thinking to myself, how did they make that so believably using green screen. The answer, it was shot practical, which explain why... WOW...

I feel that the special bonus is a little thin. Apart from the making of the Air Force One sequence, what I like most is the Peggy Carter's (Hayley Atwell)  Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter short. It does explain what happened to the character, after Captain America got frozen!! I am also glad that she would also be appearing in  Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014). YEAH!!!

Waiting for Amazon US to release in end Sept. I saw the Iron Man 3 BD at Rock Corner today. Distributed by HVN. RM79.90 for normal ver and RM119.90 for 3D.

For DH5, I have to lower the volume to watch it. The over boosted LFE bust open the room door at -10dB. The reinforced wooden ceiling also creaks and vibrates. Holy...... shocking.gif

I only managed to watch a few movies in these few months sad.gif

Last week, nearly dance in the room while watching Jacky Cheung 1/2 Century Tour BD blush.gif Yesterday night, I watch Zero Dark Thirty. By the time it finished, it's already close to 11.30pm. Dare not crank up the volume that loud as my son was sleeping next door.

Watched Ip Man The Final Fight which was based partially to real life Wing Chun master.

Dialogue is soft with the sound effect and background music overwhelming it.

I was told by many that the AQ is disappointing hmm.gif . That's the Asia and UK ver. The just released US ver is still not known yet as I have not check out the reviews.

I have only watched Olympus Has Fallen and World World Z. Just managed to watch partial of Oblivion. All 3 did not disappoint.

I do not have Star Trek Into Darkness and have not watch the Iron Man 3. I hope the one that I have is same as yours.

for entertainment, ok lah. The audio did not disappoint. Those Koreans may have suddenly lost their intelligence in the movie but as popcorn flick, it makes the cut, right? rolleyes.gif

Most of the movies that I watched, I just watch it through. If I start questioning the logic, perhaps it will be half the fun. Might as well just enjoy it.

Ok, its early morning and i'm abit sleepy..
the starting scene already make me refresh and awake!
the storyline is simple but its sq really made me awake until the end..for me this is the best movie this year to test your subs(dual subs or more..hehe)compare to star trek,wwz and iron man.
it makes my room rumble all the time..hahaha...and i like it.. rclxms.gif
