juju, i got a suggestion
can u separate the ranking into "unlocked desktop barton" & "locked desktop barton"?
i think it's not very fair for locked barton to compete with the unlocked ones. juz my 2 cents

btw, i'm now doin some modification & torturing my barton hoping for higher ranking. i will post my result later. hope nothing bad will happen

@CHICANOS

nothing special, juz some extra cooling (inexpensive method)
i got no money to buy new HSF, so have to think of other ways
1. replace the VD7 fan with a delta FF 8k RPM
2. undress the PC top and side panels so that the hot air can make their way out.
3. to avoid hot air that comes out from the heatsink from going back in, blow it with a table fan.

the others r as usual, 2 casefan at rear and 120mm on PSU

i can push up to 2.15v...jus onli i dun wan burn my proc...n oso it stable at 206*12.5 at 2.0v, os let it at 2.0v loh...
for normal usage, better lower down ur vcore. even 1.8v is a bit high for me. and yeah, enlight 420W sux. believe it or not, my icute 450W performs better when i use them to overclock

Delta1 got motfet on it. but still very hot  sweat.gif .... although i turn my Valcano 12 maximum also didnt effect much....  unsure.gif  really scared my capasitor nearby cannot tahan the heat lor.

currently run my barton 2500+ @  200*11.5 1.75V , still got no time to prime it. but the temparature for my proc is arround 62C full load 44C idle. ....  sweat.gif  different so much....

OT:  cry.gif seen like Valcano 12 ( bought only @ this month) didnt help much to cool down my Proc.... :cry:felt wasted my $$$$
*
ur temperature couldn't be so high using volcano 12. check the contact of the heatsink with the proc. and air vandelation in the casing also. make sure fresh air goes in and hot air goes out. if hot air is trapped inside the casing, even u have a good cooler also wont help.
