try running 11x220 in memtest86+ with test #5 for 2-3 hours to see if ure mem is limiting you or not...if it's not then try upping ure vcore to 1.85 or 1.9 if u dare to try...if tat still doesn't work then i believe ure proc had reached its limit...u could try a slight bump on the vdd and vagp and see if it helps

Does it pass Large in-place FFT?
*
no idea.

the best way to quick-stress your cpu is by putting 64K min, 512K max, in-place FFT, each FFT run for 5mins.

64K fits the L1 cache (x2), 512K fits the L2 cache.

btw... i'll be soon joining the rank. just waiting for my DTR Athlon XP tongue.gif

ok will try. burn few hours again?

QUOTE(evildonkey @ Mar 4 2005, 10:52 AM)

cubchai,

i would prefer CPU Burn-in tool for burn in. I only use SP2004/Prime95 for stability/stress testing
*
i'm trying sp2004 too. but dunno how to use it, in fact most of the software for stress/stability test. really dunno wat's the problem. someone once told me that maybe the problem came from the RAM. Once again my spec.

amd barton2500
abit nf7
khx256x2 ddr 333

i've just flashed my bios to D27 3DFire 1T. now doing sp2004, 240x8@1.65V
ram timing 3-3-3-6. fsb:dram = 4:3
how long should i do the test? is it necessary to do memtest after this or continue to up fsb?
