New members here.
DV6-6001TX (RM3099 from PCDEPOT). Still learning and trying to familiar with 15" lappy.
BTW, about the slow USB speed, isn't HM65 was recalled due to degrading USB connection?Well, that's what I read before this.

This is weird. before this I used my CQ40+W7 64Bit+4G Ram to run a simulation software. I working fine, until my simulation start to become to huge for the 2 Core, 2.0GHz, 800MHz processor. Then I change to this DV6. Since this is the first Intel for me, I a bit skeptical (yea, I the red fan boy). With high hope, (who shouldn't) with it Quad Core, 2.0GHz, 1333MHz + turbo boost capability, I try the same simulation on it. Surprise, surprise.... the software do not recognize Intel i Core processor yet. (what!!) It running, but when it want to simulate, it will search for the processor and identify it, but it fail there. So, not simulation with this software for me. Well, not to blame anyone. People already using AMD 64Bit technology for their system as Intel insist to use it along with AMD. Now, as time passes, 64Bit software had mature with AMD style. So, I just one thing to say..............
Intel, Y U NO > 9,000????!!!!!!

QUOTE(Efalex @ Aug 23 2011, 04:39 AM) Update your BIOS to at least F14 and then enable the Virtualisation in the BIOS. Try to run your simulation programme again. See if this method help. F14? I just found F13 and F1A on the HP site. But I will try the F1A since that is the latest version.
