left bottom there..
right click it just taskbar setting...
left click it will open hp support assistant...
there are no setting can hide or remove it in hp support assistant setting too..

hi, everyone, so now i use PC tune up 2011 to check for disk error
it detected one error, but it cant fix, i activated scheduled checkup after reboot, window says no problem, then i restarted tune up, the problem still there! why is this so?

Not sure.. usually utilities like that have detailed information about the error/s.

Maybe you can run a quick checkdisk. Open cmd prompt as administrator and run this command chkdsk /f.
Usually it will say the drive is locked and you need to schedule it to run at next restart. Just say Yes here and restart your system.

yes, i did a deep scan + fix (the one said need to restart window, and does the checking part in the black screen in 5 stages, chk journal and etc) for 3 times!!! the freaking error is still being detected, and i dont know what error it is...doh.gif

From what i see it is not severe so.. just ignore it. Run CrystalDiskInfo to check whether your HDD is in a good health.

well, crystalDiskInfo says good...so i think i have to ignore the error then
