Hey guys! today my cousin gave me an Ipad 2 for free because he found it? my question is, i wanna use it and i know it's not a good move to do it because it would be heartbroken for me too if my ipad get stolen. But please help me with the topic, is there any shop that i can go to restore everything without being tracked? your help is deeply appreciated.



PS: this ipad doesnt have any SIM card in it or Mobile ME

Please be honest to your self and don't you really feel guilty that having a peoples hard earn money within you ?

The best way is you return it to the owner it self.

Hmmmm iPad only content name infos, maybe u can check his email on General setting there. in AppStore setting

u can use iTunes to restore everything.

and he is requiring my service to restore. haha

To be honest, I would rather return it. Even though Apple is the in-thing and hype, I'd still do it. Not butthurt or anything here.

Try to find infos of the owner and try to return to the owner.

If he set his email already perhaps u can get some info out of the owner.

At least TS is honest about the iPad. If u really wanna return it, just check in with apple Malaysia. If someone were to loose a Malaysian set, sure they report to apple Malaysia to stop the warranty.

Good deed might earn u a leng lui owner with good rewards...lol

Anyway TS just return it, but don't pass it back to police.

Use the AppStore email and send him an email. Give urself a time frame like 1 week. If within that period he still didn't reply then sorry for him lor. At least u oso won't use till so guilty lor.

From the sound of it, you're actually not feeling guilty at all. In fact, you're just looking for ways to ensure you are not being tracked. The sentence in red is just a farce and trying to get us to pity you. If I lost my iPad and someone returned it to me, rest assured I would reward him with a nice meal or a small monetary reward as a thank you gesture. If it was a pretty girl, I would offer her more as a reward

And how sure are we that the 'cousin' 'found it'? And why in the second line, TS suddenly mentioned that s/he would be heartbroken if the ipad was 'stolen'?

For all we know, TS could be the one who stole it and now looking for a way to use it without fear of getting tracked.

i dont think the TS will reply here anymore. can consider the case close.

Ive never seen a person took someone else's item for granted and post here on how to restore

As long as you set iTunes to backup the iPad everything including iPad files you will be fine.

Ipad 2 price now very cheap.If can affort just get new one instead of using stolen item.
But make sure that ipad 2 is found by your cousin somewhere and not he steal from other people before you return
or go to report police.
Try find the info at setting,email or anywhere.
Not us don't want to help you but no point because you use with unhappy.Just imagine how sad the owner
lost their lovely ipad ?
