200ms is very good. I found playing WoW was fine up to 500ms, and even 800ms was acceptable.

What you don't want is unstable ping, ie 200ms for the most part, but spiking up to 10-20k every minute. You won't enjoy the game at all if that happens.

In the beta sometimes will get lag spike and your toon will be like move 10 steps and warp back to the same spot over and over again ahahah.

i used to play WoW with 400-500 ms ping until vmware linux traffic re-route then i get 200-400 ms, which is, still pretty bad for a melee rogue that mainly PVP

however thats the way it is with geographical limitations, and i just take the game as it is as whining/b****ing does nothing. back then there wasn't any option for SEA localized servers, however given how SEA is, community and what not, given the choice again i would still turn it down

Hi, I want to ask does Diablo III must play online? (connection to internet is must)

Because, i think to purchase while it launch and install on my laptop but i always travel so access to internet is hard.

yup constant internet connection is required for both single and multiplayer. unlike SC2 there is no offline mode.

yes you can but only one can be active at one time only. So if you login D3 at your home you cannot login to D3 at your GF's place also, but you can login to SC2 or WoW at your GF's place.

i would be dissapointed if d3 doesnt come with 1920x1080 res

i will still buy the game, and if i wanna play offline, i wait for offline mode created by users.

but be warn the SEA one is very expensive, last I check its RM800+ not sure if they still have the pre-order. Why not just take the US one? there is no difference between the two. You will have access to all servers just like SEA and also the RMAH will be locked to your B.Net, no matter the version you are buying.

Is there any official confirmation of this? My Google-fu fails me. Qisahn doesn't seem to have a SEA collector edition available. It seems like the RM800 price quote are just some importers trying to price gouge/scam.

It sounds like the SEA versions have their own official distributor and they have not released any pricing or info or allowed any orders at all so people who are taking pre-orders for SEA are probably just bullshitting...

edit2: meh rechecked the collector edition stuff and decided it's not worth getting

Judging from the RMAH, it doesn't really matter if you are playing in SEA or US server, there will be 2 types of Auction House, gold-based auction house (anywhere in the world), and real money auction house ( region locked ), correct?

Technically yes you can use the gold AH anywhere provided you have toons in that region. But RMAH is only for your home region. So it does not mean that if you have toon on SEA you can access the gold AH on US
