Yes, but do full wipe first. I just flashed to latest MIUI, so far so good. What I hope for is better battery life than previous version

I still got .acore error, appaently its the keyboard won't work. Reverting to RC2 for me. I'm not really fond with MIUI UI to be honest, it looks too much like iOS.

I'm thinking going back to stock Cherry Mobile ROM and modded it to my heart content because I don't like Sharp Launcher that come with it, but I'm still considering it. The launcher that I really like is Launcher7, but I can't use much widget with it

is it me, or who ever use MIUI, when do antutu benchmark only got 2+++, but the overclock is 1.5GHz, faster than RC2 1.4GHz where score 3+++

btw, I kinda like this new MIUI update, even still not stable, but the Video Record is kinda great

team UC released v04 kernel days ago, 2GHz max but i can't achieve that with stock voltage lol, & dare not to overvolt... yet

All that beautiful UI come at a price, but you shouldn't worry too much about synthetic benchmark as long as it performs well anywhere else.

Mine is not stable too, there are no way to overvolt it further, the voltage is 1.5xxV AFAIR and that's very high, and I change to the 1.6GHz kernel afterwards because I rarely even use anything more than 768MHz (usually 460MHz is more than enough) even when playing 3D games now. The kernel is very efficient, I wonder if Napstar done anything to the Adreno clock to make it faster in games.

I changed to 3 ROM today, from RC2 to MIUI, back to RC2 then to Cherry Mobile then back to RC2 again. I found that any other ROM is not suitable for me anymore, so I just install Launcher7 and GOTO Lockscreen to make it fancier and stay at that.

im successfully install latest MIUI Porting 1.10.21, but make sure u wipe user data, cache, and dalvik in cwm before updating otherwise gonna stuck at boot screen at reboot. im forgot to clean up dalvik previously.

im install No-frills CPU too and papago, working great so far. this 'slim' phone look a lot better than my small huewei u8150

Najmods, is that Rc1 and Rc2 can be installed on top of Cherry Rom and Stock CSL (install rc1 & 2 after install Cherry & Stock)? or only on top of Wellcom?

it can be install from any other ROM as long you wipe data and cache before updating, but remember, after install RC1, you don;t have to wipe data to install RC2

& yes I agree, all games that I play run fine even @ as low as 460MHz, however... 720p 4000kbps+ movies would require >1.2GHz... I often find myself lazy to encode lol

from the day one i purchased this awesome phone,
i had change the default CSL rom to wellcom ROM
then lastly RC2... very satisfied until now...


and I discover the auto restart wifi thingy happen only
when some pc from the wifi connection is downloading something,
then it will caused my phone to auto restart....
if only my phone alone connected to it,it will never happen...
dunno whther same thing to u all or not...
