ok first off did u try flashing BACK to a stock Cherry Mobile HD or Spice/CSL or Wellcom? I had your date issue, i flashed CSL stock 318D n flashed to Edowar's 31/12 cm7. so far so good

I tried flashing the original ROM (cherry mobile) using SUT L3 and CWM but still the same thing.. same problem... my phone won't accept any ROM and its now locked to its old settings.. i cant change anything.. pls help

erm. when flashing in SUT L3, did u check the box that said erase user data?

also. what .nb0 file are u flashing with SUT L3? so currently may i ask what ROM are you stuck on?

Just bought one, flashed to MIUI but hate it immediately.

why you hate miui? the user interface is beautiful man some said like ios, but the miui themes made it better!

I found out how to get rid of all the apps on my home screens (by dragging them to folder) but I still wish I have more power for customizing the themes.

need to change the dock, get rid of the apps on home screen, make a slide to unlock , ..... so many things. >.<

here's what i tried using SUT L3
- Original cherry mobile .nb0 file
- RC1
- RC2

i also tried
- miui
- bumble bee
- CM7.. etc but still the same thing... my phone goes back to RC2 after the restart.. i erased user data using SUT L3 and CWM

i hate MIUI for its iphone-ness but after i changed to launcher pro instead of the default MIUI launcher its awesome. that's beauty of android, customizability.. cant do that with n iPhone unless u jb but still not as customizable as Android xD

ur goal is to revert to what rom now? what rom r u starting from? show me ur steps for flashing to the rom u want ill show an example

going to csl stock from bumblebee (.35.7):

bumblebee
wipe data
wipe cache n wipe dalvik
turn off, turn on download mode
install csl stock via sut L3
done

My phone is running on RC2 and I want to restore it back to original cherry mobile magnum ROM.

I followed these steps to reload ROM using CWM to no avail
- Go to CWM Recovery.
- wipe data
- wipe dalvik cache
- Install zip from SD card
- Reboot

Using SUT L3, I erase user data several times before I loaded the ROM but after the restart, my phone goes back to its old RC2 ROM

Troubleshooting steps performed:

1 Reload RC 1 and RC 2 2 times (failed)
2 installed Bumblebee 5 times (failed)
3 Installed MIUI 4 times (failed)
4 Reload CWM and install zip file from there (failed)
5 Used SUT L3 to install .nbo files (failed)
6 install Cherry mobile official update using SUT L3 (failed)

ok now ur on rc2 right?
do exactly these steps.
wipe data
wipe cache
POWER OFF
turn on download mode
install cherry mobile .nb0

it should be fine. ive gone from rc2 to stock n all np n dont try flashing bumblebee or any .35.7 roms the kernel is dff n will confuse u only. if still cant, try with ANOTHER stock. nb0 file either wellcom or csl. remember do not need CWM to flash. nb0 files. nb0 use sut.

can you show me the link to the .nbo file ur using?

try another stock ROM ie CSL or Wellcom, still got issue?

if that STILL FAILS, try this:

Menu
Settings
Privacy
FACTORY DATA RESET

this ought to do it, it restores whatever custom rom to the stock it was previously on.

I downloaded the nb0 file from this link:

Also, tried the steps you provided FACTORY DATA RESET but still the same problem. According to the cherry mobile technician, the board of this phone is locked that's why it wont accept any changes in ROM...

impossible cuz if its locked it wont even allow u to flash to rc2 in the first place. trace back ur steps.. even with rc2 u sud b able to flash straight to any stock ie wellcom or csl via sut

ok now when u flash via sut the device will eventually boot rite? wjat boot splash n animation r u getting after flash to wellcom via sut?
