dear all, how to check the ROM:2GB & RAM 512 MB on this device?
I noticed only 165 mb used & 0.93GB free only on application settings/storage use

Here is my advice...Try this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1543226 + mock kernal (file attached at the bottom of the tutorial). and don't forget to install V6 supercharger http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991276. With these combination, I had never experience any lag or force closed when playing games.

Hi its me again,

still having the same problem with the system restore of this phone.. it keeps going back to its old settings (feb. 19, 2012) everytime i restart my phone

Troubleshooting steps performed:

1 Reload RC 1 and RC 2 2 times (failed)
2 installed Bumblebee 5 times (failed)
3 Installed MIUI 4 times (failed)
4 Reload CWM and install zip file from there (failed)
5 Used SUT L3 to install .nbo files (failed)
6 install Cherry mobile official update using SUT L3 (failed)

**** DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO NEXT

i'm planning to load the original cherry mobile rom manager but my backup crash down and lost my files..


Can anyone give me the link where i can download the original rom manager of cherry mobile? pls help

My MIUI will reset its date and time each time after reboot..

I tried MIUI 2.3.9 CK and 2.3.16 FR from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1543226 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1559840

Data, Cache and Dalvik are cleared, then fresh install as well

Any idea ?

Automatic date sync and start up sync is off as well.

i'm looking for the original ROM manager to replace the CWM and load the original bootloader that came with the phone.. pls see the attached picture.. i guess that is similar to the original ROM manager of this phone

Hi all currently i having a problem on MIUI ROM 2.3.9GB (dark themed)
the camera isn't fuctioning at all, open the app and it jumps to homescreen,even though reflash the rom also same,any solutions?
or flash back to stock rom will help??or send it to csl warranty?

seems like a lot of users having problem with different miui version, try to post your question at xda forum, the dev will help you, i didn't have that problem,

1. flash to stock 2.3 rom
2. set correct time and date,uncheck automatic
3.flash miui rom

i'm using this one and did not face the camera problem. after you flashed the rom check whether the camera works or not, if not working just send to CSL service centre,

thanks for the help.. i tried the steps u gave me several times but the problem is still there... actually, the problem is not the date and time its the system itself.


for example,

i installed facebook feb. 20
march 3 i installed inotia
march 20 i installed dolphin browser and then i restart my phone today (march 24)

all the apps i installed are all gone... time and date is still correct but all the messages, calls received, settings and all the changes i made after feb 19 will be erased after the restart.. thats the problem i'm having right now


my phone is running RC2

even if i load the stock rom 2.3, miui, bumblebee and cm7... my phone goes back to RC2.. time and date is correct but files and apps are gone


i hope anyone can help

Once you get the problem its very hard to let it go, but I managed to get it fixed by restoring my CMW backup before the problem occur. And when I do clean install back to stock ROM via SUT and do clean wipe the problem gone.

I just bought a Ultra Clear Huawei X6 Screen Protector from pdair, it is clear and nice and all.

But the 4 soft touch button at the bottom doesn't respond well after I put on the screen protector, is there a work around to this?

Btw, before this, I am using the phone naked. Is it possible that the phone auto adjust the sensitivity of the touch button to be felt and when I put on the screen protector, there is a layer there, and the sensitivity decrease?

how much you bought it? does it attract fingerprint?
i'm using clear screen protector and the sensetivity seems good,
the phone won't auto adjust the sensetivity i think, try google around about the capacitive button resistivity.

I bought it for 12USD. Fingerprint, I would say it is kinda same with naked, just a little bit lesser.

Did you bought it from pdair too? The one with 8USD?
I sensitivity of the touch screen itself is great, way better with naked. When I am not using the screen protector, once my finger get wet or maybe dusty.. the screen could not detect my finger anymore, and till now with screen protector, I have yet to face any problem with it.

Erm, I trying googling capacitive button resistivity, but, I doesn't quite find something useful..

I also change the screen protector past few days...using anti fingerprint that one bundled with the box...
What i notice after replace the sp was feeling smooth when scrolling but not smooth at all when playing contract killer game...before this no prob...need the press the screen harder...

i think screen protector may reduce the sensetivity of the screen.. still observing unusual behavior on my phone with screen protector

Hi there, can u solve my pblm? I flash to CM7.2, but whn I start the phone, the phone stuck at boot screen. Now wat shld I do to get it function?

Go to recovery, do factory reset there and try to boot again

can i remove my screen protector to have good touch sensor on the screen? tq.

in my opinion, actually it depend on personal ppl, if u feel dat after u remove the sp so dat can enjoy a more sensitive touch screen, thn head u go..
