Hi,

First-timer paying credit card bill. There are plenty of questions I would like to ask everyone here for clarification. smile.gif

Cash
- over the counter
- via your credit card issuer's cash deposit machine

^/``MEPS Interbank Funds Transfers (Online)
You must have an online banking account linked to either your savings or current account. Please refer to the thread here for the applicable charges.

^You are allowed to transfer only RM5,000/day* from your account through MEPS Interbank Funds Transfers executed online. However, you can increase this limit from the defaulted RM5,000/day to RM40,000 if you bank with HSBC and HSBC is the only bank that offers such high limit in Malaysia..

*The daily maximum IBG limit for both AmBank and UOB Bank is RM10,000.

1) When you pay cash over the counter means you literally go to the bank of issuer's card and pay the bill with cash? And do you need to fill up any kind of form?

2) About the cash deposit machine, all you need is the amount of cash for the payment and the credit card's number right? You do not need to insert any card to pay?
(For example, the card payment is from standard charted bank, you go to standard charted bank cash deposit machine, you insert the credit card number then u put the amount of cash, then voila?)
