What happens when you send GIRO to correct bank account number but wrong account names /incomplete names? Will it still go through or will it bounce?

I believe is MEPS problem instead of bank. but bank no cater exception properly.

instant transfer become IBG? can ask for interest or refund of instant transfer fee? *just joking as bank never do that.
When customer late they will charge whatever fee ...when bank slow, nothing we got ... how can customer is no 1?

Just sharing my AmBank experience.

Last Friday i performed a IBFT using AmBank AmOnline to a Maybank account.

Numerous attempts done but each time failed and error display saying insufficient fund. After a few minutes checked back fund was debited . While AmOnline kept showing error and no SMS confirmation received of successful IBFT, yet fund debited.

The receiving end was also my own account so confirmed IBFT did not go through.

Report lodged via 1300 80 8888 and issue still unresolved. Amount around RM2k.

Was also told IBG is safer than IBFT by one of the customer care. Also shocked by the wide range of response given by customer care, a few said 24h will refund, 1 said 7 days, another 1 said up to 14 days.

Ya, it is MEPS issue since early this year.. on n off still have some cases reported .. still pending MEPS to resolve

The irony is i am an AmBank staff and am sadly disappointed with my own bank online platform..

Somemore my IBFT is done via a 'registered account' not an one-off IBFT.. just out of the blue failed like that without warning...

So far Bank islam is waived but already stop starting this month.

PB customer should not be worried about small increase. Ikan bilis customer should be the one worried. If such small increase, anggap give free money to bank loh. If can afford PB, what's extra RM4. Like that I speechless already. Don't like bank, pindah bank lo. Siapa suruh setia to one bank

When I enquired SCB end of last year, Just One account comes with a debit card that charge you RM8 a year. I was told by the SCB officer that cannot open Just One account without debit card    Hence I just opened a Basic Savings account under SCB, minimum balance RM20. IBG and instant transfer is free. I didnt ask for the ATM card, so no annual charges.

Just curious why suddenly so many banks offering zero for for IBG / IBFT? 🤔

I just did another IBFT & again no need TAC. Same HLB

Someone hinted that it might be because the payee is a favorite payee. But I also did IBG to same fave payee which required TAC

IBG is "delayed" transfer. IBFT is instant / immediate.

I have no proof to show even if I complained to BNM. Only thing I can think of is to ask folks here if anyone else experience the same and if many of us, then can complain collectively as a group. i think it's not right. TAC is a must for all transfers irrespective

I did 3 IBGs from PBB yesterday 7pm, now 5.30 pm still have not arrived. No possibility of wrong account number etc. as I use a saved favourite on PBB (every month do this same transfer). Anyone else having issues?
