Other bank have higher limit for IBG (normal consumer customer)
CIMB = RM30,000 IBG daily limit
HSBC = RM30,000 IBG daily limit
Public Bank = RM20,000 IBG daily limit
AmBank = RM20,000 IBGdaily limit

But, some other bank still maintain RM10,000 IBG daily limit
Maybank, RHB; Bank Islam, BSN
Hong Leong Bank - But allow to requets for temporary limit increase to RM30,000 daily limit
UÖB - RM20.000 for UOB Privilege Banking & Private Banking Clients and Max daily limit RM50,000

Same as me. I have the same issue as well as I do not have an ATM card. I called up customer service & was told the reason was because of that. It makes sense as IBFT runs on MEPS (ATM) network.

back to 2015 oct - dec ... the instant transfer is free... everyone know about this

but today when i check my maybank statement... the giro is not free... i mean normal transfer they charge for 0.11 cent per transaction ..

anyone can clarify about this?

As I know, 50K is the daily max and applicable for few banks.

Were you able to change your limit to 50k in mybsn? I only saw 10k max inside. I could not find the IBFT option for fund transfer either.

Anyone know for scheduled GIRO transfer, what is the processing time? Lets say I schedule tomorrow transfer, what time it will be processed?

OCBC free ibft until 31 dec 2016 via mobil banking

I wanted to cancel my debit card from UOB but was told by a branch staff that I need to keep the card in order to continue using my Internet banking. The reason given was so that I can reset the password from the ATM if necessary. Is it true?

I know MBB & CIMB need to link the card with Internet banking, else it won't work. Some banks like OCBC do not need ATM / debit card to use the internet banking but online IBFT won't work.

But based on an earlier post from here, a debit card is not necessary for Internet banking for both UOB and HLB. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks.

So you managed to open a savings account without a debit card? Is it the eAccount? When was the last time you did an online IBFT? So far, I never had to reset my password before. I agree that the branch should be able to reset the password too. In that case, I think there is no reason to not let me cancel my card. Thanks for the reply.
