Has anyone read a circular on maybank that bank negara requires additional fields to be keyed in for transfers, ie. Recipient Reference. What will we write here and will the recipient see it? My first thought will be things like transfering for online purchase, lets say to a seller here on Lowyat, when I buy a Pikachu doll from Mr Beng, I send him RM20, so along with it I indicate Recipient Refence as "FROM fz for purchase of the Pikachu doll". Then Mr Beng will know who deposited the money and for what Item. Previously, we also can write the Recipient Reference, but I never was able to access this info when I am receiving money from someone who had written the "remark".
