QUOTE(scoop7 @ May 28 2012, 09:20 AM) What to do if I want to transfer 15k from public bank to other bank in malaysia? If u want same day clearing, go branch request to do Telegraphic Transfer by RENTAS, charges may range between RM7 (RHB) to RM14 (HLB), I dunno bout PBB. Some banks even got function in their internet banking to do immediate transfer...HLB charges RM1 per transfer but I'm not sure about the transaction limit. If not urgent, Transfer by GIRO is cheaper, 1/2 to 1 working day clearing time.

QUOTE(kart @ Dec 26 2015, 11:23 AM) ^ Thanks for your tips, Ramjade. It will cost RM 0.53 to perform IBFT via Ambank ATM, right? The intention is have the cost of the IBFT / IBG to be zero, or as low as possible. Mana ada instant transfer that is free, even Hong Leong also charges RM1. But the good thing is, it's really fast, really INSTANT.

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Dec 26 2015, 06:22 PM) I never used Instant IBG before, until my friend who worked in PBB told me that its worth it because you can instant confirm the account belong to the recipient. True enough it was worth the 50cents due to this. I do think that banks have to adopt this mandatory to promote IBG. Give u a tipsy to be Mr Kedekut/Kiamsiap Use IBFT@Instant Transfer to confirm the recipient details, but STOP at "confirm transaction" page i.e. don't proceed Go back to Interbank GIRO function to use the same details, transact and pay only RM0.11

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Dec 26 2015, 06:41 PM) I dont really transfer that often. I will pay even if it cost RM1 since going back and forth to banks cost even more. Also it is good for banks so that they can afford to spent to improve security every now and then. apa going to bank back and forth...GIRO also available online la This post has been edited by Pink Spider: Dec 26 2015, 07:37 PM

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Dec 26 2015, 08:19 PM) Just use IBG. Why need to do all the above? Unless of course the above can give you instant at the price of RM0.11Â U did not read properly. andrekua2 mentioned about the benefit of IBFT@Instant Transfer which can let u see and verify the recipient NAME before u proceed - u key in account number and the accountholder name pops out. With IBG, u don't have that facility - u have to key in account number, account name (and IC/passport/company number if u wish), if details (account number) salah, and u did not click "verify recipient details", say bye-bye to your funds. It baffles me that things that can be answered as simple as going to read the Rates & Charges and FAQ pages of the bank can go on for 52 pages
