Just found out that there is a free and faster way to move funds between banks.
But seems to be only available at MBB and PBB http://www.pbebank.com/en/en_content/perso...s/mymobile.html http://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/p...al/ACC-Accounts This post has been edited by gilabola: Nov 17 2012, 09:48 AM |

Want to ask about foreign TT .
If I want to transfer , let say HKD 5000 to HSBC account in Hong Kong, is it I Put RM 2000 and the bank will convert it for me. (let say RM 1 = HKD 2.5) or I need to convert it myself in HKD and only TT. Thanks. |

This morning (7:30am) I did IBG from Maybank Basic Savings Account to SCB JustOne Current account .. the fund is already in SCB and ready to use when I check at 4pm.
That's amazingly fast !!! I was expecting the funds available to use either tomorrow morning or late evening This post has been edited by ronnie: Dec 3 2012, 04:01 PM |

I also got fund same day when i did IBG lately between Maybank - Public Bank - CIMB. That's amazingly fast !!! Yey, now i can pay my credit card to OCBC in one go. My MBB m2u saver account IBG RM2, ish, but ok lah, cos got little bit interest. |

RM10k per day would be great....Not promoting Maybank/CIMB, but they have up IBG transaction limit to 10K. Yey, now i can pay my credit card to OCBC in one go. Thanks... Last time i checked, Hong Leong Bank is there. So yes. You can (assuming nothing has changed). IBG Giro done via ATM will be charged RM1 and shall be credited into the other bank's account right away.QUOTE(beblink @ Dec 16 2012, 12:43 PM) If i'm not wrong, i guess only Maybank can be able to transfer money to other banks via ATM machine. Many other banks provide this IBG Giro through their ATM too. The one that has been heavily advertising this is AmBank, afaik.Haven't tried heh QUOTE(iVW @ Dec 23 2012, 07:41 PM) All the banks do... provided>- it is a banking day - and transfer is made before the bank's daily cut-off time. Cut-off time usually is either at 11.30am, 12pm or 12.30pm. Another alternative is through ATM, limited amount of banks are supported though. |
