I see. It is quite misleading then, in the website, to disclose as such.

I agree that it is quite confusing. Perhaps this link would be clearer: -

Had to do over the counter funds transfer to another bank a few times early this week. Was given only two options. Either IBG or RENTAS only. And RHB Bank limit each OTC IBG to RM100,000 only. So if you need to transfer more than RM100,000, you need to do it multiple times.
- HSBC (only from Advance and Premier account)
- Citibank
- Standard Chartered
- UOB Bank (certain type of account only)
- OCBC Bank (free unlimited instant transfer only through mobile banking until 28th September 2017)

For UOB, it is free for all accounts until 31/12/17. For OCBC, it is also applicable to online banking as well.

Hi guys,

I am looking for a saving account for free IBG & IBFT (best if they offer free instant transfer), online banking and e-statement only without the need for cash withdrawal or debit card etc. I am also not interested if there is annual fee or debit card fee for the account.

I googled and browsed through lowyat and found that there's this Standard Chartered JustOne account, but I am not sure if I am missing out any other products from other banks. Currently I have AmBank True Accounts.

Thanks!

UOB eAccount. The transfer limit for the account is one of the highest. You can open the account without a debit card if you do not want to pay any annual fee.

For those who are still using OCBC internet banking website on their computers (not handphone), the fee of MEPS instant transfer is still RM 0.53, right?

I tried recently on the website, no charges for instant transfer. thumbup.gif

Real-time Retail Payments Platform (RPP) is coming soon. This would enable the transfer of funds to and from bank accounts and e-money accounts in real-time using NRIC or mobile numbers.

What is RPP?

Saw this on the DuitNow website. Besides banks, it seems Digi will also be supporting DuitNow. Is it for its e-Wallet? Interesting indeed.

duitnow rides ontop of paynet, but paynet will eventually takeover IBFT and IBG. this is because people still need to be able to transfer to an account number

paynet is essentially ICTF
*
Paynet is actually the payments network provider that provide services like IBG, IBFT, RENTAS, Jompay, FPX etc. DuitNow is just a new service introduced by Paynet recently.

Can DuitNow system be enhanced with SMS alert to the recipient?
I received money from friends via DuitNow but wasn't alerted.
DuitNow is tied to CIMB.

I received SMS alert from OCBC when someone transfer funds to me using DuitNow. Not all banks have it though.

OCBC is now sending SMS notification for any inward remittance including instant transfer and MEPS GIRO. This is new though. An email is also sent to your registered email. The SMS notification is a welcome change. Previously only Public Bank and Hong Leong Bank send out such SMS notification for inward remittance.

I did not get any notification for HLB though for DuitNow inward remittance. I only get it for IBFT.

I have just noticed that it's possible to schedule a monthly instant bank transfer with Ambank. Is there other bank which does the same?

Cause it's better than a scheduled IBG which takes longer time and do not transfer on weekends and public holidays.

QUOTE(Gabriel03 @ Aug 11 2019, 09:12 AM)
Yup, the transfer was done at 7.33 a.m. according the message that i have received.

So, anyone know if there is other banks which practices the same?

Here are some of the banks that can do that: -

HLB - Instant Transfer & DuitNow
UOB - Instant Transfer & DuitNow
CIMB - Instant Transfer only
OCBC - DuitNow only
